I do, however, agree with the writer who commented about Melissa Simpson. I felt like a bad child in school who failed a test. She was never warm. She thought that we knew what she knew about banking and when we asked a question she smacked you down. I haven't seen her recently. I hope some other poor Lakeland Bank somewhere does not have her in their employ. Every other employee with whom I have had contact has been wonderful. Lakeland Bank will always be my bank of choice.

She has an attitude if you don't understand what she is saying (because we're not all bank employees and may not fully understand the terminology or process of things!) and has a horrible customer service demeanor when you ask questions or ask her to explain. During a stressful incident of potential fraudulent charges on my card, I certainly did not need the additional stress of a disgruntled employee!! I will continue to take my banking elsewhere!

I went over my purchase limit that is all . I had to contact wells through my mobile app and they told me I should have no problems, whatever they had told me was completely false information, and they even sent me to a couple different locations where I have not had a problem since ! I was in and out within 10 minutes!!! It seems only this location has a manager who does whatever she pleases LOL . I canceled my card and ordered a new one after this experience. Be careful of who you give your information to. I will be switching banks asap . I have never been this frustrated with my own bank before . of course this was done for the fun of it and the fact they will never deal with me again . I have filed a complaint against this location as well as its workers . the manger specifically was some old lady who stared me down the entire time I was there she was judging me and talking under her breath with the lady who took my personal information to the back . I have been a patron of this bank for years & can not possibly say enough positive things about it…read more First off, I switched banks from a large bank to Highlands State Bank after I got tired of being robbed with literally illegal fees. Highlands State Bank is smaller but that's the best part. There is absolutely no fee checking. Open it with $50 and you could take $49 out the next day and there is no fee! Savings accounts just have to have $100 to prevent a monthly service fee. I am disabled & currently don't have a car. Not a problem, there is free completely mobile banking available. Get a rebate check from ebates.....that's ok, take a picture and deposit it with your smartphone. No need to even go in. The staff are amazingly kind & helpful! They go out of their way to make sure that whatever you need gets accomplished. I'm moving out of the area but because the mobile banking is so awesome, I will not be leaving them behind!
