This location being closest to my work place in Parsippany I decided to stroll in to utilize one of their promotions which offered $200 for a new account opened that maintains a certain balance. Service while I was there was pretty straightforward, it was a slow weekday morning and I was attended to right away. The banker was a bit pushy as she kept asking me if I wanted to apply for a different kind of checking account and credit card than the one I originally intended to. My experience at the bank wasn't so bad - I had all my questions answered and the process of opening up the account was pretty straight forward. My problem was post leaving this branch. I reached out to the banker many times via email and left voicemails to never receive any kind of response and it has been about a month now. I had issues with my direct deposit and had questions about my account that I needed answered as I am moving across country at the end of this month. Unless you have the flexibility to physically stop into a chase location to resolve your problems, don't expect a professional level of customer service.

So what sets one branch apart from another branch are the staff members who provide the service. One of the tellers is a sweetheart. I believe her name is Carolyn. Very personable, upbeat, extremely professional and always have a genuine smile. It gives me great pleasure to conduct business with someone who looks like they are not dreading their job. It makes me feel better inside and puts me in a better mood. If more people had her attitude while working, we would all make this world a better place. Aside from that, I'm being forced to bank at this particular branch in the shopping center because this is where I am currently located for work. These people will treat you like crap especially if you are in a joint account with someone just make sure you are the first one on the contract they make you sign or be main account holder . Me and my girlfriend had a joint account we both contributed to, we shared the money equally . I was in charged of the online banking and budgeting because I was better at taking care of that stuff and other personal medical reasons. So we get into an argument on a firday as I was trying to dispute fraudulent charges. Long story short is that she was able to make it to get a new bank card I did not have to go because I just finished getting and activating my new that Friday which I didn't even get to use due the account being locked again ñdue to fraud. This time though I was getting fraud alert because someone was changing stuff on my online banking that I was locked out of and my girl friend did not have access to. its hard for her to do any kind of things like change passwords and stuff. I was getting notifications all weekend and throughout the beginning of the week about someone signing on to my online banking. Turn my phone off that my girlfriend ended up going to get a new bank card. That Saturday and try to get me off The account because she's mad. That Monday She told me what she was doing I asked to why she would do something like that, because. I needed to get my Diabetic medication That' Friday and I was able to. Go to that, I ended up In the hospital not only because My sugar was high but also because the anxiety that Paul Delorenzo gave me by the way he treated me. He had my girlfriend sign some paper that said that I said it was OK for me to be taken of this joint account remind you my girlfriend is considered legally blind and I'm sure she didn't not read what she sign at the branch. They told me they can take me of the account because I wasn't a member I was just a number 2 on her account. Paul Delorenzo even told me to take her to court because there is nothing he can do about it . There is a lot more but it's not even worth my time Typing because I tried to reach out to someone with more authority and they had me talk to Samantha the security lady. Jeremy again! Great guy and had me out of there in 90 minutes including the time it took to call the lease-holder, get the docs together, etc. No surprises, just fair, honest business.
