I got an immediate response to my inquiry, an appointment in under 2 weeks, and everyone in the office was very kind to both me and my husband. Plus, none of them mention the fact that X-ray services don't start when they open. They start later. One more thing, when I tried to call them at 7:15 am, they had not switched their phone message from the one saying we are closed for the holiday. The woman at the front desk (Mary or Sarah, argh I can't remember, I'm pretty sure Mary) was very friendly and had me fill out some documents and chatted with me for a bit. I didn't have to wait long at all until I was called in. There's a small curtained area to change into the gown (an actual room with a door would be nice, but not really a big deal). I went into the x-ray room and tech explained a bit of the procedure - it honestly didn't hurt at all, the real uncomfortable part is holding your breath a little and holding your arm around the machine to get the right angles. Afterward the tech explained it would take about 2 weeks to get results (which it did) and that many women get called back in for an ultrasound depending on their tissue and to worry if that does happen. Thankfully no issues after my scan so I don't have to go back but now I won't be scared for my next appointment. Very nice facility.

Terry was also great about explaining things and let me chat her up a little bit to ease my anxiety while she started an IV as painlessly as possible. While getting me situated for a breast MRI she took great pains to make sure I was comfortable, making several adjustments until I could relax and be able to still. Terry offered me water before and after the test and found a hair tie to help keep my hair from annoying me too. She made me feel valued. From the people at the front desk, to all of the technicians who run the show here I felt as though they don't just work at a job. I called this morning about having chest pains yesterday morning, I explained my situation to the on call nurse. I said I would prefer to be Refered to a cardiologist instead of waiting in emergency all day as I wasn't currently having chest pains. I waited all day for a call back 3:10 it came in from the office, she the on call physician stated she had an appt at 4:00 pm and they could do some blood work and a EKG in the office. I said yes, I left work at 3:21 drove across town. To park Meadows from south-west Littleton. I got there at 4:12. They said well let us check to see if we can still see you as we have a 10 minute cut off time. I said I just booked this with the on call physician and immediately left work and came over here and drove across town. I don't have control over traffic. Bottom line they wouldn't see me! They said I could re-schedule or go to the ER! Very poor practice and this isn't the first time I have felt pushed to the side. I FIRED them! These physicians need to care more and have more compassion for their patients! I feel like all they do is paperwork and push their meds and vaccinations! It's disgusting!
