Had a filling done, had a long wait but when in, the female dentist was extremely freindly and settled any nerves. I shouldnt have worried, there was no pain whatsoever! although i hear the male dental asisstant laugh as he put the suction device in my mouth, i think he found that funny. altogether a nice freindly place and staff settle any nerves that you may have. My appointment here was rushed and unprofessional. I searched long and hard for a dentist in Southampton, and after reading a couple of good reviews about Ocean dental I decided it must be OK. I would not recommend this place to anyone, that's if you can actually get them to answer the phone and get an appointment. Definitely a no go.

They sit and listen to you and they let you go over your time if you need to and they take you seriously over everything you say. The receptionists are always friendly and helpful and go out of their way to fit you in and get you appointments that suit you best. The surgery is happy and clean with a good atmosphere. The nurses are great with the little children and the midwife is the best around.

The actual surgery is clean and pleasant - if you can get an appointment. Try calling and you'll always get a busy tone - unless it's at 08:00:02 - when you might be lucky enough to get through. The waiting room usually queues into the lobby, so don't go if you need to sit down ! It is not the fault of the surgery, as tons of new houses were built near by without provision for a doctors, dentists or other such amenities.
