I told my friends about this donation and I definitely want my YELP friends knowing about donating to orphan teenagers; however, the donation deadline is July 15, 2018! FYI: I attended Life Point's Church Service on 6/24/2018-I collected a tag for donating a backpack and I collected a tag for donating a pair of shoes for an orphan, male teenager. I ordered both items, the Pacsafe backpack and the Adidas running shoes from Amazon so, I hope the male teenager will like what I bought for him! Why I'm donating new items to a male teenager I don't know? Well~I paying forward random acts of kindness . . . A kind, furniture store owner helped my Mom, my siblings, and me (I was almost nine-years old) when we were experiencing almost homelessness (I ended up in juvenile hall and I don't understand why I sent there): Anyway, the furniture owner paid my Mom's house mortgage which my Mom paid him $100.00 each month, bought food, and also, he bought school clothes and shoes for all six children which included me. So, when the donation announcement was announced during the 6/24/2018 church service, I automatically thought about the rough times my family endured. Paying forward is the least I can do.

Good selection of new and old worship songs. Guitar player and piano player. Several singers to help lead congregation. Several prayers. Had a group of children sing a song. Good sermon from Philippians 2:1-4 on Unity Through Humility. About humility being about putting others needs above ours. This is in regards to other believers and also the lost. Talked about outreach and this church has several scheduled outreach opportunities in July. I had hoped to go to worship there again next Sunday but looks like my job will have me in another city. Looks like the doing a study of Philippians which i like because it helps you to study His Word in context which i believe is important. Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. You will feel comfortable whether dressed casually or more formally. The pastor greets people in the sanctuary and lobby before and after the services. He reads and uses scriptural passages in his messages, applying them to life situations and showing us how we can better live our lives according to God's plan for us. This is a church very focused on ministry and service, with many opportunities to serve. There are also several group prayer times at the church during the week.
