John made a commitment to assess our electrical needs and did so. The first week of May, I called and spoke to Sue. She advised she would follow up with dates and times. By the end of May, I had not heard back - I called Sue and was told that John is very busy and my info is on her desk. A few weeks later I called as I had time off of work. Once again, Sue reminded me my information as on her desk and she would call me back after she checks his availability. After two months of not being called, I have moved on from trying to schedule with them. There was no apology or explanation. There was no estimated wait time. There was a sterile, we are busy and will get to you when we can. I called around locally to on other small businesses that did provide that. I'm not sure where the disconnect was with JM but it was a turn off. Sadly, as I have heard wonderful things about John.

I called last week with general questions regarding my breaker panel. The Owner was very…read moreprofessional and courteous. His first question was how old the panel was, when answered I was met with, immediately, you need to change the panel - "a panel is like a roof, it needs to be changed every 20-30 years, even without issues". This seemed odd. I reached out to contractors I know and they had never heard that, but the internet has... so that's divided. The Owner, once again, was polite and friendly. He offered to fit me in for an inspection that he would personally do. This turned into him later sending a technician instead, but the inspection was still being done. The technician came out, checked the panel and then advised my wife who was home and was the point of contact. I specifically told the Owner as well as the technician, my wife would be the contact. The technician didn't even leave my drive way. Was literally sitting in it when he called me to follow up. I asked if he spoke to my wife. He said he did. I asked why he needed to call me. "To follow up" . But you spoke to my wife. "Yes". Then why are we speaking? He had no answer. I was put off by the fact he felt it necessary to speak to me as if my wife didn't get it. The technician basically told me everything that my wife already advised me of when she called quickly to let me know they wanted $6000 to replace my panel but couldn't tell her why. So I asked why. The answer - it's old. There is no danger, nothing imminent, the fuses look okay but it's old. When I said that seems illogical if it works, I was told I may not be aware that power isn't going to the house and lights might not work. I only live there, I think I would know if lights didn't work. But whatever. The technician also asked if he could follow up in a few days. Of course you can but why ask? "Because some customers feel that we harass them". Oof. That's awkward. They also have payment plans available, included in the quote should you move forward with the project. I immediately called for a second and third opinion. Both second and third reported my panel was in excellent condition and besides one fuse, didn't need to be replaced. They also quoted a project like that $3k less if not more but didn't have actual. I also didn't want to waste their time getting one considering I wasn't doing the work. Very nice company, but not for the work I need.

We called so many electricians not one picked up but Fabian was reliable. We called him @ 7am left him a voice mail and he called back within 1 minute. We told him our problem and he had someone in our home within the hour. He was extremely professional. After they diagnosed the problem, he told us the price to replace our meter panel along with the circuit braker. We thought the price was fair considering the work they had to do. He was here exactly where he said he was going to be. Fabian himself showed up and two of his other man. We owe Fabian a lot. Another didn't even come to do the estimate! A highly regarded local company told me that the only solution to my basement lighting issues was more lamps, and that ceiling lights would be impossible. Carlo disagreed and said he could easily install ceiling lights in the basement and you know what? He was right, and the other guy was wrong. The lights that Carlo installed downstairs look great and improve the space *so much*. On top of that Carlo was so easy to schedule with! He told us what day and what time he would come, and he did.
