As per usual the office was clean, warm and inviting in atmosphere. This was my second therapeutic massage with Cameron, who is new, coming to our community from the Denver, Colorado area, where she is from and had become certified. I knew my first experience with her had been outstanding. She greeted my warmly, and I had prepped well for the massage. She did the customary assessment interview of areas for possible focus, with me giving her a few, but also I've learned that just as a doctor's 'symtoms + blood-test' will indicate an appropriate medical approach, the information that her fingertips on my body would generate would give much guidance on how to apply the beautiful arsenal of therapy that the assembled techniques of massage therapy employ. What does she need from me? Only a little 'common sense' cooperation, while I can take it all in with a relaxed, sweet surrender of my stresses and tensions melting away. The soft, relaxing music she chose was especially happening to be to my tastes. Even if I attempted, I don't think I could have counted all the different approaches she used, one flowing into the next. While even a 90 minute therapeutic massage can't 'last forever', one does carry its benefits forward from the experience, in the hours, days and weeks going forward. I really, honestly believe that many more people than realize it could benefit greatly from this, truly, entirely real therapy from Cameron at Lifestyles Massage & Bodyworks.

Then she charged me 10 dollars more than the price quoted. I didn't say anything because the whole thing felt weird. It seemed like the practitioner was still learning and not confident in her hand work... yet confident enough to tell me that deeper pressure would not (yet) be good... Though no pressure arrived. I don't think this was the owner who saw me, but someone else.

The therapist seemed to rush through the massage and didn't spend much time on the trouble areas I noted in my booking. To be fair, I did come in later in the day. The massage itself was just okay, but the glow ritual was really enjoyable. My second visit was definitely better. The therapist really worked out the tension in my back -- it hurt in the best way possible. While he didn't stay fully consistent with my problem areas or work much on the front side, the foot massage and stretching were both very good. My third visit, however, was amazing. Leo did everything right. He followed my booking requests perfectly and is honestly the reason I'm giving this place 5 stars. My only regret is splitting his tip between cash and card because he absolutely deserved it. Overall, this place has a very welcoming atmosphere. I love the setup and how genuine it feels compared to some of the more "manufactured" spa experiences I've had around the city. At this point, Reflexology Plus has become my go-to spot.

She is definitely tuned in to her healing work. You can feel her expertise coming through her hands. She works quietly and confidently as she moves around your body. I get a sense that she knows me better than I know me because she understands what our soft parts are saying and she works with them not trying to out-muscle, but instead working gently with the body to coax it into wellness. I suggest sitting down with her prior to your massage so you can explain what you are needing. She is not a typical LMT, she's educated in her craft and a thought leader in her field.
