I honestly can't wait until my next appointment to learn about my health and what improvements can be made to live healthier and happier. Upon meeting Dr. Lum for the first time you can immediately feel very comfortable thru his kind and caring way. I knew that I did not feel well and that something was wrong with my health. I went to my own doctor and was sent to an endocrinologist to conduct some tests . I had many symptoms including darkness around my mouth, extreme fatigue, weight gain, etc. I had recently lost my mother that I cared for the last 30 years and after my tests came out "normal" the endocrinologist said that I was just deeply depressed. Well, I was deeply depressed, but I knew that my physical health was a problem. As it turns out through blood and urine testing so much has been uncovered about my health status. Dr. Lum is treating me for the health issues discovered including, MTHFR, heavy metal toxicity, cellular hypothyroid, vitamin deficiencies, neurotransmitter imbalance, adrenal fatigue, weight gain and years of constipation issues. I have been a patient for about 9 months and during this time there has been testing leading to discovery and treatment. Everything is not resolved , but so much progress has happened. Specifically , most of my diagnostic blood test numbers are improving. My darkness on my face has improved, my hair has grown more in a few months after not growing for the last 4 years, I am less fatigued and my I am feeling happier. Also, for the first time in many, many years I have become "regular" and truly thought this would never happen. I drive over an hour to go to Dr. Lum's integrated healthcare center and it has been so worth my time and money spent. Dr. Lum is also so kind to communicate with me thru emails when I have other a few follow up things to go over. Dr. Lum and the entire staff are so supportive of each persons health needs.
