Attending FUMCS has been a truly wonderful experience for our family. As a military family they helped us to make a transition to their school in the middle of the year as seamless as possible and showered our children with love and support. We have seen them go through a complete administration change last year and make changes all for the better. As with all big changes to any organization with new leadership there have been some bumps, but the transparency given by the administration about how they intend to handle or fix the issues is so reassuring. The school is safe, and their security team is top notch. It's a school where everyone is going to know who you and your children are and you won't be just another number. We feel so blessed to have found this school and will be sad to leave it whenever our time comes to move away. read more

Both of my children began attending FUMCS at the age of three and graduated in eighth grade. Throughout their time there, they formed lasting friendships that have continued into high school and beyond (they are now 16 and 23). Along the way, they were nurtured, inspired, and challenged by teachers who genuinely cared about their growth. This school not only prepared them academically but also helped to shape their spiritual journey for the future. Do not send your child to the school!! My son is three years old and was in their pre-K3 program. Below, please read my email withdrawing my son from this school. First United Christian Methodist is FAKE all around!! First, I would like to say that we would like to officially withdraw from your school effective immediately. The excessive amount of text messages, emails, phone calls, and even an in person meeting for a three-year-old student is completely unnecessary rather than wasting the parents time. You should use that time to go back to school and get properly educated and accredited in the subject of early childhood education. Your consequences are completely inappropriate threatening to suspend a three year-old if he wasn't picked up after acting like a dinosaur during chapel time. That is a punishment for the parents as a three year-old has no idea what a suspension is if anything it is a reward to get to go home early and stay home. It seems like your administration does not want to deal with bad behavior, but still wants to get paid for it. If you cared about the child's behavior, you would do something about it instead of calling the parents to handle what you are incapable of handling. Which leads us to believe that all you care about is the money and not the child which is not the Christian way!! How is my child getting to the point of jumping on chairs through the chapel?? Where are the adults? Why are a group of adults unable to control a three year-old child there is no logical explanation. This entire situation should've been handled by your staff and notified to us at pickup time. This along with every message, phone call and email received was ridiculous. We understand that the large majority of your administration and faculty is new to the school or to their position, but that should not affect us. As said by the other reviews Mrs. Parker is a horrible excuse for a principal. She does not fix any problems brought up by students she has taken away everything that made that school the bright place it was before her. Not only has she completely changed the original rule system she also drove away most of her original staff. She does not care about the school itself and cares only about the money. Do not waste your money on this school your kids will learn nothing and they will try to control everything your child does. I love this school!!! I cannot imagine sending my kids anywhere else. They come home happy and excited about the things they are learning. The Holy Spirit shines throughout FUMCS and is reflected in the ways my children interact with their friends in and out of school. I have never met a more dedicated and professional staff! With two instructors in each classroom, the kids get the guidance and love they need to thrive. I thank God every day that we found FUMCS! read more

This school is horrible with the new principal mrs parker. She is very rude and doesnt resolve issues properly. 3 kids in my sons grade already pulled their kids out half way through the year. The school board was no help and sent me an email to resolve the issues I brought up in the board meeting and they didnt even address anything I said in the board meeting. They only addressed the other parents concerns in a horrible way. Very degrading attitude there. All they want is your money. They give your kid a horrible teacher and cant even keep the wifi up for the kids to test. Such a shame because I used to love the school before they brought in this principle. read more

My children have been a part of FUMCS for years. I appreciate that Mrs. Parker makes decisions that benefit the school as a whole. While my children and I have bonded with certain teachers more than others over the years, I have Respected ALL of my children's teachers. I have never questioned any staffs' Christian walk.
