The reason I didn't give 5 stars is for a couple of reasons..inner city parking is always a problem (not a lot can always be done about that), but when I visited the first time someone thought I was someone else and addressed me by their name (which was an awkward but understandable mistake), but when I returned 3 times after that..no one actually remembered my name or even acknowledged me. I sat in on an addictions class that was pretty chaotic..so I left half way through. The song leader talks and sings quickly to keep things upbeat but he has to give commentary At least once during a song or two and that breaks up the enjoyment of singing. One thing I truly did enjoy about my time here was when an older man plaYed the harmonical and shared his experience of when he came to know Christ. It seemed genuine and I have missed seeing that in churches :) and it did my heart good when two ladIes came by one Saturday to invite me to ladies Sunday school class :)

Recently I rented the fellowship hall for my husband's retirement party. What a beautiful room - everyone was commenting on how nice the facilities were. I had a Caribbean theme and was able to decorate the way I wanted. If you're looking for a place to rent I suggest you give them a call. Take note though, in the summer there is no air conditioning, just fans. I did luck out since our party was on August 10 and we had a beautiful low humidity, low temperature day for our 80 people party

However, this review is about pierogi! On most Monday mornings, the ladies of the parish (and some men) gather in the parish hall to make pierogi, which are sold for $12 a dozen. Cheese, potato and sauerkraut are available. These are the genuine homemade article, as you can see from the assembly line rolling dough, adding fillings, etc. They come well wrapped and frozen, and I am trying to keep some on hand at all times, but they keep getting eaten!

Buffalo is full of absolutely spectacular imposing Gothic looking european-style old churches and it's one of the things I love most about Buffalo. This is one of the very prettiest and grandest as well.
