They even helped my little girl get over her fear of waring glasses. My daughter was so shy an nervous about having to were glasses to school this year an would hide them in her bag pack. Well her teacher Mrs. Gonzales had a wonderful solution. She began wereing her glasses instead of contacts for a couple weeks. She even got onother teacher to do the same thing.This helped my baby understand that she was not alone an lots of people wear glasses. My daughter proudly wares them now with no shame. I am so grestful to the staff here. The tutoring they offer has been so beneficial to my other daughter an i have seen her improve greatley. I have also been to several events an fieldtrips that are so much fun an full of smiles. Keep up the good work it makes all the difference. I wish i would of got this kind of help an incougment when i was younger. We need more schools an teachers like this.

The teachers are exceptional and have promoted a true love of learning and the students/families have been exceptional. Covenant offers multiple opportunities for students to engage and become involved - fine arts, athletics, academic clubs - i am amazed at the breadth of offerings that students can choose from. As a parent, am so thankful that we have found this school and so appreciative for the commitment, passion and love that the teachers show for their students.

I am very pleased to have my daughter attend Smithfield Elementary School. The school itself is…read morequite old and does need some upgrades (some being addressed by the current bond). However, the staff does a great job utilizing the resources they have to provide a very safe and sufficient learning environment. The staff, from the principal to the teachers to the lunch staff, are all amazing. They put the children's best interests ahead of everything else. The PTSA is very active and sponsor many fun events for the entire family. The curriculum is very sufficient and the GT program allows students to excel. My daughter only has 15 kids in her class so the attention she receives is far better than many other schools (even in our district). Upgraded to 5 stars. Congratulation on being a 2017 National Blue Ribbon School.

My daughter decided it would be best for them to go to Park Glen and it was a great decision. The kids are thriving, excelling, and excited to go to school again. The leadership, teachers and support staff are warm and welcoming. And it's easy to see the happiness and eagerness of the children to take part in all the school activities both academic and extra-curricular. I wish my children had had such a positive learning envirinment when they were in school.
