Pfefferschiff requires a bit of a drive outside main Salzburg to what looks like a converted home estate. Once inside, it continues that theme: cozy and homey with fireplaces, low ceilings, and a bit of a cramped nature. Pfefferschiff has the air of an old guard, locals-only restaurant. But our service was outstanding and super accomodating despite our lack of German skills. The menu was highly modern with each plate presented as a work of abstract art. I'll let you peruse the gallery of some of the incredible things we had the pleasure of eating. Perhaps my favorite aspect is that we were able to try a lot of different small courses and really experience what they had to offer.
