Tess rules the kitchen with lasagne, New York strips, and salmon dinners. Colin was an excellent oarsman and bartender (wicked recipe on the tequila shot!) Tyler kept everyone organized and brought the Patty's! How in the hell Timmy kept up with this group at almost 80 is beyond comprehension. We enjoyed perfect weather mid June for a 6 day trip, our crew had 3 kids who absolutely thrived on all of the water activities. They can't wait to get back on the river with this group of guides. Don't let the negative reviews steer you, they are just upset and unhappy customers that couldn't find a better use of their time but to spread negative/untrue information. I have been around this crew for a few years now and they do an excellent job. Let's spread this positivity!! The Manager at Mile High Marina (Kelly" is rude, demeaning and has no idea what customer service…read moremeans. She not only raised her voice and talked over me when we were discussing the cost of a "stick" getting caught in the impeller while we were were using it, but when I asked her to change her demeaning tone, she repeated it in the same tone 3 times...on purpose. I spent 40 years in sales and customer service, and I can tell you I would have fired her if she'd ever taken that tone with our customers. The other people there were very nice, but they need a new manager. What a terrible example.

My teenage daughter thought they were so cool and preferred to hang out with them. One guide even taught both of my kids how to do a back flip off of the raft! The company accommodated my picky eaters and the food was delicious. We enjoyed the picturesque landscape and we saw several wild animals while rafting. Start to finish, this trip was fun for all ages and incredibly memorable.

From the moment we were picked up at our hotel in Lewiston, Idaho the service was impeccable. On the river, Salmon, service contiuned. All 6 guides knew the river and remembered all out names, 16 women. Good rafting, our camps were set up before we got to them, even had chairs at the river bank. Oh the food, who could believe that all 6 guides could all cook that well. One of the owners (the wife) made most of the snacks, soooo good. They followed all safety protocols but gave us leeway to find adventure. I highly reccommend this small family owned business and would not hesitate to use them again.

From the 1st phone call to inquire, to arrival, departure with the rental to leaving for the day this place was 5 star all the way!! The staff here is super friendly and ensures you are satisfied. I loved the detail of going over the safety of the boat and places to go and stay away from to. Keep your day most enjoyable. We had an absolute blast renting out pontoon boat for the day and driving around this beautiful spot of Northern Idaho. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for rental boats, paddle boards, kayaks and pretty much anything you want to do on the water.

Owners provide fly fishing lessons and organize winter fly fishing excursions/vacations to southern climates. Prices are typical of a small shop but not of the charts. McCall area has some river and stream fishing. Best experience however is high mountain lakes.

The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, and the water is pretty calm for paddle boarding leisurely. As for the business, this is the only place you can rent on the north side of the lake. But they are very easy going and nice. And the price is reasonable. I would definitely recommend it and have recommended a few friends to go up already. :) $45 for a half day or $15 per hour paddle boarding rental

We noticed Tamarack was offering rafting adventures and decided to give them a try and we are so glad we did!! Our guide Freddie was so knowledgeable and did a fantastic job! You can tell he genuinely loves rafting and wants to share that passion with everyone he guides for. We did the day long trip and it didn't feel long enough because we were having so much fun! Can't wait to come back next summer!

I was able to setup a reservation with CMBR for a large group…read more This was for 15 sleds (snowmobiles) in early March. I did most of the coordinating through email, which was easy and hassle free. Upon arriving at the rental shop, we got some gear, if needed, and signed waivers. The gals working the shop were friendly, mellow, and had plenty of jokes! We drove ourselves to the trailhead (Francis Wallace parking lot). The parking area was a bit slushy, but we managed with two minivans - and some knowhow. Upon arriving at the lot, a tech went through a brief orientation on how to operate the sleds. You are able to sled right out of the parking lot and onto the trails. The trails go on what would be forest roads in the summer season. There are some stops to make along the way with great views and a snowed-in restaurant worth a quick drink. After a few hours on the trails, we returned to the lot where the techs collected the sleds. Afterwards, you do have to drive the helmets and gear back to the rental shop in town, but easy enough. I highly recommend CMBR for the courteous, laid-back service!

So..... our first attempt was horrible. It was 9 degrees that day and we rented 3 snowmobiles for a family of 5. My oldest is 20 so he had his own and we were about 45 min into our day when the machine started sending alarms and overheating. We tried packing it w ice and letting rest and tried to head back which ended taking about two plus hours . After 40 min and going only 1/4 mile we decided I would head back and get help . By now the snowmobile was smoking . I head in and they told me that there are no extra machine and started to walk away . There is no cell service at all on the whole route and even at the lot you start at . I'm like hey !' It's 9 degrees and they are stuck what are you going to do ?! I wanted to leave the machine and have 3 people on one machine and slowly head back but my husband was worried that they charge us for it . One of the two guys said he was heading out with a group and would stop for a minute and see if it's a quick fix or coolant. I asked if he could give me the coolant and he said there was only one . He had group of 3 people and they were newbies. Did I tell you one of my 14 yr old twins refused to wear his long johns even though we told him it was essential for 9 degrees. We starts heading out and his machine started smoking. He couldn't go any further. So I found rest of my family and they had to ditch the machine by the payette park sign . Once we were warm and in town I called . They were aware of situation and gave us all our money back no argument, they just apologized that made me respect them . It took us hours to get back . We started at 9 and it was noon before the family was back together at the lot. I was surprised when my family asked if we could try again so i called back and they hooked us up and gave a small discount and they also spoke to Burgdorf and got our money back and was able to reschedule our hot springs even though there were no appointments available. Yes I recommend this company because we had amazing time the second time and when things went bad they stepped up and did the right thing .
