Read the whole story: The food was good, and our waitress was amazing! She gave us great recommendations. We gave her a good tip at the end for her amazing service. However there was a waitress that was wearing a shirt that said "Kathy". She wasn't our waitress, but she gave us the bill at the end because our waitress was busy. The bill was around 600 pesos and we paid 1,000 pesos in cash. She took our money and never gave back any change. For the next 15 minutes we tried to get her attention and she pretended that she didn't see us, and just ignored us. We got our original waitress back and she quickly got us the correct change. She is super great and nice. Make her the manager and fire the Kathy waitress. As a frequent traveler, I have easily tipped up to 1,000 pesos for good service, but this was downright scammy and made us feel so grossed out by this behavior. It's behaviors like that make travelers not come to your restaurant because they don't want to be scammed. --- Viajeros ¡Tenga cuidado! I think I figured it out. If you sort the reviews by a new newest first, the most recent review is more than a year old. This is my attempt to perhaps help others looking for a good seafood restaurant in Cancun that is not a tourist trap. BTW, this again is in a residential area and the only way to park here is to utilize their valet parking, which was reasonably priced. The best part of my experience was the fish swimming around outside.
