Since I was in Ararat I had to visit a random fish & chip shop just to see what it was like, and this was the lucky place that got my business. Well, being close to the railway station helped a lot mind you. As it turned out, I was in luck because they made a awesome serving of chips, and it wasn't too much that I wasn't able to finish it either. In fact I ate the whole lot down, and it was really, really filling. Also, the dim sims were pretty good, and it wasn't all that pricey either, so I'd give this place a good mark. read more

Fabulous hot chips!!! Light and crisp, not oily or soggy. Did not try any of their other food. We received friendly service. Good price, and wrapped the old fashioned way in paper! Just what we needed on our long drive home. read more
