My family and I went to the store to print 2 family photos via the in-store digital kiosk. After I…read morehad printed the receipt and paid for the prints I was advised at the counter that there would be a 30min wait for our "instant" prints. We accepted the delay and took our two young children around the store to fill in the time. After 30min walking around we returned to the counter to be informed that it would be another 30min until we would receive our 2 photos as there was still a backlog. We again accepted the delay and tried to keep our two young kids busy in-store. After the additional 30min had passed we again returned to the counter to now be told it would be further 40min until we would receive our 2 photos The counter staff were not helpful at all and just shrugged their shoulders at us. I pointed out that had we been told orignially that it would be a 1hour and 40min wait for our prints that we would not of proceeded as that's far to long to wait in-store with kids for "instant" photos. We were not offered a refund for our paid for prints and instead had to leave with nothing. We then went next door to Office Works and got our prints within 2min. My advice go to Office Works if you want photos printed.

Went to buy my husband an iPad for his birthday from this store during a sale and a Nespresso…read moremachine for myself. Many sales staff around. Talk about pass the buck. None of them had any knowledge on any products and I kept getting referred from one to the other without resolution to quite basic questions. Finally, the incident that really pissed me off was the guy who was 'helping' me with which iPad to chose. I kept asking him for prices for the various wifi+3G models and he kept insisting and pushing for wifi only. He then preceded to question whether I really needed 3G and was I really sure what it was?! Maybe I should consult the husband??!! sexist and quite presumptuous on his part. I have a degree, an MBA and several electronic devices I know how to use very well, what made this guy think he knew better is beyond me! If the sale wasn't on I would not have bought anything just based on their rudeness assumptions and incompetence. In addition the Nespresso machine I bought was supposed to have 10 free pods in the box, which were not available as someone had removed them. No offer was made to replace them. I didn't bother asking as I was happy to run out of there before I slapped someone.Never again.

TLDR; Poggers store, changed my outlook on life and would return even if given the choice…read more ----- 9/9/2021 BIG uPs to the ol' good fellas in Chatswood, proper banging deals on all the hotttest shit. From toasters to vacuums if you've got a mess to clean up, these guys will sort you out so good. I experienced the most bussin customer service this side of of the Mississippi and i would not hesitate to bring the boys round for a product demo any day of the week. However, it is with the most heartfelt sadness i must explain, the only reason i cannot bestow five stars upon this prestigious establishment is i believe the good guys should rename to "the good people" as show of solidarity and to bring much needed inclusiveness to the franchise. Overall i would rate the store for being as fully sick as they are but with the discriminatory naming practices i can not fully recommend the "good guys" as it turns out they are just "bad boys". PS. Bring back Coffee demos they are pog PSS. I would die for Jason Segel

Last week a 50inch TV was delivered to my flat. I assumed it was a mistake, until my husband came…read morehome and proudly declared it as "a surprise for me, so that I wouldn't have to watch Mad Men on my tiny computer screen". (Note to men everywhere: we see right through this s**t, just like you see through our 'oh, it's a neck massager' schtick. It also didn't help that he purchased an NBA all-access pass.) The biggest problem was, well, its bigness. It was embarrassing. It was larger than the couch we would have watched it from. He didn't seem to mind this, but could see in my eyes (and the telltale steam coming from my ears) that it wasn't worth the domestic disturbance it was about to ignite, so we agreed to return it and potentially *potentially* get something smaller at a later date. Despite the horror stories we read online, The Good Guys were incredible about returning it. Sure we had to drive out to Chatswood, but when we arrived they took it back without question, refunded the amount we paid, and even refunded the $50 charge for shipping. I couldn't believe it - it was like returning something to Nordstrom and it made me go from very, very, very upset to wanting to return it for store credit and buy a few more unnecessarily large appliances that we don't need for our tiny flat. We didn't end up doing that, but I'm sure that if/when we decide on that 40inch, The Good Guys will definitely be the place we head first.

Brought my stand mixer in to have a part replaced only to have the same issue happen when I used it again just outside of the warranty period. It should function well under normal use for a lot longer or offer the part to be replaced for free. This company is clearly not interested in customer satisfaction as many have noted. I'm going to go to Leichhardt (another recommendation from KitchenAid) to have it fixed once and for all.

I wouldn't recommend this business to anyone. Our oven door was shattered and I was told a…read morerepairman needed to come out to make sure he had the correct model. He was here for a total of 5 minutes, found the model number - which I could have relayed over the phone had I known where to look, and then he left. I then received a phone call to tell me the oven glass was no longer available. We have had to buy a new oven from another company and I am out of pocket the cost of a new oven and the $155.00 it cost to have someone come to our home and find the model number. I understand businesses need to make money but in this case, as I told Alpha Appliances I was quite happy to pay $55.00 but would think I may be entitled to a reasonable refund given the outcome. When I put my case to Alpha Appliance Repair I was told they would be happy to reimburse my credit card by $25.00.....not happy, not good business.
