From toasters to vacuums if you've got a mess to clean up, these guys will sort you out so good. I experienced the most bussin customer service this side of of the Mississippi and i would not hesitate to bring the boys round for a product demo any day of the week. However, it is with the most heartfelt sadness i must explain, the only reason i cannot bestow five stars upon this prestigious establishment is i believe the good guys should rename to "the good people" as show of solidarity and to bring much needed inclusiveness to the franchise. Overall i would rate the store for being as fully sick as they are but with the discriminatory naming practices i can not fully recommend the "good guys" as it turns out they are just "bad boys". PS. (Note to men everywhere: we see right through this s**t, just like you see through our 'oh, it's a neck massager' schtick. It also didn't help that he purchased an NBA all-access pass.) The biggest problem was, well, its bigness. It was embarrassing. It was larger than the couch we would have watched it from. He didn't seem to mind this, but could see in my eyes (and the telltale steam coming from my ears) that it wasn't worth the domestic disturbance it was about to ignite, so we agreed to return it and potentially *potentially* get something smaller at a later date. Despite the horror stories we read online, The Good Guys were incredible about returning it. Sure we had to drive out to Chatswood, but when we arrived they took it back without question, refunded the amount we paid, and even refunded the $50 charge for shipping. I couldn't believe it - it was like returning something to Nordstrom and it made me go from very, very, very upset to wanting to return it for store credit and buy a few more unnecessarily large appliances that we don't need for our tiny flat. We didn't end up doing that, but I'm sure that if/when we decide on that 40inch, The Good Guys will definitely be the place we head first.

I was told it was a small plastic part so no need to return. 3 months later, no credit so I called. Was told I would hear back in 24 hours. No call back. I went on live chat as the wait on the phone was 80 minutes. Was told I would hear back in 72 hours. No further contact. Went back to live chat and when I typed in my problem, the agent disconnected! Still no resolution, but I gave up. The money is not worth the aggravation.

Brand new Fisher & Paykel tumble dryer. Broke on first use. Filed a warranty claim. Received a…read morephone call from their service department. He asked what the problem was. I explained that the dryer beeped constantly as soon as you switched it on. He stated that he new what the problem was and that a technician would be able to cone out and fix it. Unable to give me a time other than in the morning of the date specified. Technician tuned up on that morning with no information whatsoever. Told him what the problem was (again). He stated he knew what the problem was. Didn't look at the machine at all. Said he didn't have the part for it and would have to order it. Do its a week later and still have a broken dryer. Still need to take a second day off work so they can fix their useless machine. Conclusion Extremely poor quality appliance. Breaks on first use. Extremely poor customer service. Long delays, terrible communication, and the need to take multiple days off work at own cost. Would never buy again. Would not recommend.

Brought my stand mixer in to have a part replaced only to have the same issue happen when I used it again just outside of the warranty period. It should function well under normal use for a lot longer or offer the part to be replaced for free. This company is clearly not interested in customer satisfaction as many have noted. I'm going to go to Leichhardt (another recommendation from KitchenAid) to have it fixed once and for all.

He was here for a total of 5 minutes, found the model number - which I could have relayed over the phone had I known where to look, and then he left. I then received a phone call to tell me the oven glass was no longer available. We have had to buy a new oven from another company and I am out of pocket the cost of a new oven and the $155.00 it cost to have someone come to our home and find the model number. I understand businesses need to make money but in this case, as I told Alpha Appliances I was quite happy to pay $55.00 but would think I may be entitled to a reasonable refund given the outcome. When I put my case to Alpha Appliance Repair I was told they would be happy to reimburse my credit card by $25.00.....not happy, not good business.

You have to circumnavigate Rosehill Racecourse to get into the industrial estate. There is plenty of parking once you have worked out which gate to go into. The showroom consists of hotplates, dishwashers, fridges, ovens and ironing board contraptions. Some products haven't been used but some have and have been refurbished. All carry a new warranty. Our Miele dishwasher died after 10 years (not very impressed) so we are a bit snakey about paying full price. Their website won't tell you what is on the floor and you have to visit. We were able to see a refurbished one that suited us. Whilst still an expensive product it did have a substantial saving. Whilst there was no box, the dishwasher was wrapped in cardboard, bubble wrapped and put on the back of our ute....just as good as a box.
