From a healing perspective, those two sessions did more than years of soul searching, and more than some hundreds of sessions in comparative holistic approaches. I know this sounds like an exaggeration, but it is not. The many years of experience of a good therapist, combining both, therapy and hypnosis, can be profoundly effective in terms of the depths one could reach. I guess this is to be expected when good marriage counselors are taken and are in high demand due to Covid. She was unprofessional and biased from our first session and it continued through our third and final appointment . She also pressured us to have our third session the following week because she was going to be on a two week vacation and would be unavailable. Was this for our benefit or for Lisa's financial benefit? I was reluctant because our second session didn't go well for me and I also prefer counseling every two weeks and was still feeling PTSD from our first two sessions. We were then pressured into another appointment the following week by Lisa. That turned out to not go so well for me/us. Our sessions were all through Zoom which I am not a fan of and prefer in person couples therapy. In our first Zoom session we had an uninvited male visitor get on our zoom call. That was distracting, creepy, and very awkward! Lisa also apologized numerous times because she had to go to the door to receive some Amazon deliveries. Who does this during a paid session with clients? Again, this was super distracting! She then wanted to charge us for more time because we had gone over but we didn't agree with her charging us more. Especially with all of her unprofessional interruptions. Thankfully she agreed. Our second session was even worse. I brought up some painful memories and experiences. I was shamed and unsupported by my wife and Lisa and was made to feel bad for bring it up in couples counseling. Why the heck go to a marriage counselor if it's not okay to discuss issues that you are having? Again, Lisa lacked the skills to navigate that painful experience. For our third and final session, again more difficult issues and Lisa goes right to recommending us to get divorce lawyers. She never once during our three sessions asked or focused on all of the positive attributes we had going for us as a couple. We were Lisa's last session on that last and late Friday afternoon before she was leaving for her vacation. She was checked out from the beginning and didn't appear to be present or capable. I believe Lisa to be inept and partial to help couples objectively. I called her out during our session for being unfair and biased and she actually apologized to me for being "sexist." Lisa seems very pro-women and not fair or objective to the male point of view in my experience. She also offered up her services for our divorce process, are you kidding me Lisa!! You've already lost us as clients and have done enough damage already. Thank you so much Lisa and I hope that you had a lovely two week vacation. Our marriage ended that September afternoon after our Zoom call with you and I haven't seen my family since.

Dr. Nuño is particularly known for working with cervical spine (neck) issues. He is super nice, caring and skilled at identifying and treating the problem. Once I presented with knee pain, he treated my knee, and I walked out of the office, without pain and have continued for over a year without knee pain. It would have taken weeks or months of X-rays and physical therapy to (maybe) achieve the results he got in 30 min. I can't say enough about their skill and effectiveness.

Check in, wait for about a couple minutes in the waiting area, takes you to a room to get situated with option of massage chair or heating pad to relax muscles prior to adjustment and 5 minutes later he appears and adjusting everything, all the right places! Feel really good right after, muscles more relaxed and loose/limber. My husband recommended him and he's pretty picky and looks forward to his visits. To start with, this guy refuses to use Epic or integrate with it in any way--the system that everybody else uses. This means that none of my other doctors can see anything about my history with him--no blood tests, no notes, no diagnoses and it makes it very hard on all my other providers and me. I had my primary care physician say to me that he hadn't seen a blood test for me for years and I have one every 6 months! Every time I need this data shared I have to call his office, talk to somebody in records and give them the information of the doctor to share records with and they don't often actually do it. I had to hand him my phone with the John Muir health app open so he could read notes from my cardiologist after I specifically called his office before my appointment and told them to give him the notes from the same cardiologist. Even more annoying, the in-house labs kept charging me copays then also sending me a paper bill for like $2 after the fact. I get the same tests every time, why can't you figure out what this costs and charge me all at once instead of wasting my time paying paper bills. I got fed up with that and went to a lab on the 2nd floor of the same building but because he doesn't play well with Epic I have to hand deliver paper orders--what is it 1985? Even worse, I was left for over an hour sitting in the exam room on 2 separate occasions because he was "busy". I only see this guy once every 6 months so the ratio of him being on time vs extremely late is pretty sad. The final straw was that he and his staff checked me into a virtual appointment and then I guess they forgot about me because 90 minutes later I call the office from my phone and its closed! I get the answering service to get him on the line and he acts like he had no idea why I was scheduled to see him--dude, you asked me to come to this appointment!
