I asked him if he serviced the area as to where the job is located and he replied he was from there. He made an appt for the afternoon on a Tuesday. The day after, I messaged him and asked if he came by, since I did not receive an estimate via email. He eventually replied, no. He made another appt approx a couple of days for 9am. Again,a no show and no form of contact. I sent him a text and messaged him that I do not need his so called business. No reply of apology, nothing. Did not surprise me. Imagine, if this is how he conducts himself and represents his business, then it is a person and business I do not want any dealings with. Something so simple, contact! Imagine his work!?

Stateside completely scammed me. They re-sided my house and repaired my porch roof. They charged me for vapor wrap and insulation and when the siding blew off my house I realized they never put on any vapor wrap or insulation. I have sued them and won in small claims court and they are refusing to pay. Below is a photo of the damage to my home. They started yelling about how long it took to get here fighting traffic even though they arrived within a half hour of our original call. I decided to go with TLC, a small, local company rather than a large business. I spoke to Patty at TLC last April and was quoted a price for what I thought (since I asked for annual contract pricing) was for 2 visits and a lower price should I need any additional service. The a/c check went fine and I paid $325 thinking it was for an annual contract. Yesterday was my furnace check. I called at 10am and was told a service person would be here by 12:30-1:00. Well...it was after 2:00. No big deal. Sean cleaned the filter & checked my gas fireplace (2 years old). It took about 1/2 hour. He then asked me for $325. I couldn't speak. From my spring phone call with TLC, I thought I had an "annual" contract that included the spring & fall visits for a total of $325 - not $650!!! Totally outrageous. $325 for 1/2 hour?!? I could have done this work myself. Live & learn. Oh - when I looked at the contract emailed to me in the spring, it had expired, so I couldn't even review the original paperwork. Make sure you get the contract mailed to you. Don't let TLC rip you off. And Sean (service guy) even solicited side jobs for himself, saying he moves outdoor furniture for TLC customers and helps with small jobs. No thanks! I work hard and am so upset with having to pay so much for such a small job. It's crazy.

Unfortunately, I did not notice the extent of the mess until after they had left our property. I contacted the owner, Frank, to discuss resolving the issue, and he assured us he would address it. We waited several months for the cleanup to be completed. Subsequently, during their cleanup the deck sliding door was inadvertently painted shut. I reached out to Frank again, who apologized and offered a complimentary power wash as compensation. When I attempted to schedule the power wash this spring, I was informed by Frank that the season had not yet begun. Upon asking for a suggested follow-up date, I did so as advised. However, during my next contact, he indicated that the company was too busy with larger projects and could no longer fulfill the promised service. I remained understanding and requested a confirmed date to plan accordingly. Unfortunately, the promised date for the complimentary power wash passed without any follow-up or service from Jersey Boys. Overall, I have found the company's customer service to be lacking, and the quality of work has not met expectations. Working with them has been challenging and disappointing.
