This location is definitely off the beaten path for tourists, but it was only a few blocks away. I was unfamiliar with the type of fish, but decided to give it a try. WOWZER !! What a great tasting fish. Perfectly breaded, golden brown, moist and full of flavor. This meal was easily some of THE BEST fish & chips I have ever had. Unfortunately, in my delirium I failed to take note of the kind of fish. Friendly service, large portions, great price. I wish I could go back, but will probably never be in this part of the world again.

Staff is also lovely. Great wine selection. Honestly everything about this spot is wonderful *except* the food. I started with the mussels. The broth was pretty good, though lots of massive garlic chunks. The mussels were kinda gross. They were huge and tough and not at all what I expected. For my entree I had the quinoa cakes. They sounded lovely but didn't hit the mark. A little overcooked and not wildly flavorful. Again, a darn shame. Oh well.

They do not take reservations and do seem to get busy around 7:30 so perhaps come a bit early. The food itself was beautifully plated and everything tasted amazing! Loved the muscles so much we had a starter and a main! The salmon was tender with a perfect sauce that complemented instead of overpowered the dish. The special was equally tasty!
