The bus smelled of sewage on our long journey from Springfield to New Mexico. The bus had multiple broken seats that were uncomfortable and would not sit up-right. The bus was no more comfortable than a school bus. We were sick to our stomachs the entire time we were on the bus. The odors and rough bus ride, accompanied by broken seats, was too much and not worth the over $3000 we spent for the trip.

We had an unusual itinerary and four generations of family members onboard, from age 92 down to age 4. Rex helped us in the planning stages and was very accommodating and helpful. Our driver, Tyson, was the best!!! From helping older people on the bus to being very patient with the littles who all had to try out his microphone, we couldn't have asked for a better experience! Dinner was downtown in the new area of Branson and food and service were good but not "gourmet" about what you'd expect as this isn't a foodie tour. You have a choice of chicken, steak, or salmon. Given the reasonable price for the whole experience though, if you are a steak connoisseur I'd skip the steak, not bad at all, but the Salmon and Chicken are in my opinion better options if you are finicky about your steak.

On our way back to our drop off location, we experienced a blown tire. Our driver tried contacting her company and she said no one would answer her. I ended up texting the owner informing him that we were on the side of the road with a flat and no one would answer to help her. I received no response but moments after the texts were sent, our driver received a phone call. My husband and brother in law ended up changing the tire so we could be on our way. Our driver told us the owner would be in contact to "take care of the incident and help she received from our group". A week after the tour, I had to reach out to the company because I did not hear from them. The owner Joe called and had a list of excuses as to why he didn't reach out. He also told me that when he received word of us on the side of the road, he had to step out of a show he was viewing while on vacation with his wife. He told me he fired our driver and she had our contact information. He didn't want to tell me how much he would refund so he didn't insult us. he wanted us to tell him how much we wanted. After discussing with our group, we decided on a reimbursement amount and I texted Joe (the owner). We came upon an amount by saving someone from changing the tire and also not missing our driver's second tour that evening. My second text was to confirm he could just refund my credit card and not mail a check and he said yes. Another week goes by with no credit card refund. I texted the owner again and he finally says he can't refund us the amount we decided on but could give us half of what we requested. He'd also refund us our credit card fee. When I asked if he had my card info, he said yes from our initial registration. Ironic that he now has my info but didn't when it came time to reach out to us initially. If you do utilize this company, hopefully everything goes smoothly so you don't have to deal with the owner to settle things. Good luck!

Finally called the regional number (660) person put me on hold the instant she answered. When she got back on, I asked about a ride to Springfield from the Stockton, Mo. area. She quickly told me they only offered rides to Springfield from my area at the rate of $42 per hour!!! Exactly why would I or anyone else in my financial situation call OATS if I had $42 I could shell out for gas to someone for a ride?!! I'll be honest, since it was a female I didn't tell her off just hung up. Forty two dollars an hour!!! It would take a good three hours for someone to pick me up drive to Springfield to Heffington Optical for my glasses wait for them to fit me then take me home. I have a few bucks left over from my ssi by this time in the month in my checking. I have no transportation available to me. I'm supposed to cough up $126 for their (OATS) "senior service" to poor folks in need of help?!! I'm disabled on ssi and medicaid. I can't stand full sunlight all that well it's almost killed me more than once being out in it for too long. I reckon I'll take care of my animals extra well one night this week. Pray my little dogs don't get into too much while I'm gone. Just start out walking early one morning. My driver Donna didn't show up on the scheduled time so I was very worried. She said that she got delayed with another customer and she wasn't sure if she could take me. I told her how long I've been waiting for this appointment. She said that she could come and get me but I would be late for my appointment and if I wanted for her to come? I said, "Of course!" She got me there late but Thank God the receptionist told me that they allow people to be 15 minutes late so I barely got there within the allotted time. What really gets me is that Donna was so casual about telling me that she was going to be late and if I still wanted to go to it as if she really didn't care. When I got done with the appointment I called her to let her know and she told me that she had to go home and someone else would be picking me up. That was the cherry on the cake and I thought that was just another thing that was strange. I think your driver Donna probably has more problems than the people she gives rides to.

Guests had to come find me during the reception and tell me the bus was not leaving, causing me to miss some of my celebration. I told them to tell the bus driver the bride told him to leave and eventually he left after 10:30 when the second bus was supposed to be back to bring home the bridal party. So the bridal party including me aka the bride, and the groom had to literally sit outside venue after they closed for an hour waiting for him to come back to pick us up and drop us off. When we got on the bus I asked him if we could drop some people off at their homes and he VERY RUDELY told me no, that he was only told to drop off at the hotel and that was it. I told him that I had this bus booked for three hours so I intend to have it for three hours and the owner told me if i needed it longer to make sure everyone got home safely that was an option but this bus driver was rolling his eyes, throwing a big attitude, arguing with me THE BRIDE and telling me he wasnt going to go where i told him i needed to go even though i still had them booked for a while. What had been one of the best nights of my life, quickly turned sour after my interaction with the rude bus driver. Like his intention was to drop us off and then be done with his shift 1 hour early. I paid them for 3 hours which means I expect service for 3 hours, not two hours and then you pocket all the money and then leave my guests who have been drinking stranded somewhere. After arguing with him for what seemed to be forever, he finally decided to do what I said but the whole bus ride he had a bad attitude. If you are looking for a stress free night and want a company who cares about getting people safely home, honors that they said they would take you wherever you needed to go, respects you as a customer, and not steal your money, THEN DONT BOOK THIS PLACE. Takes weeks to get ahold of someone to tell them it's the incorrect parts, they pretty much tell you you're shit out of luck. One of the worst decisions I've had in this industry in the last 10 years was buying a bus from them. Stay away.
