Nice people but this is just a gravel parking lot. Sites are close together. FHU and works fine for a quick overnight stop. Just off the interstate but road noise doesn't normally bother me. Would stay again if in the area and needed an overnight.

Rustic Meadows RV Park 2449 Evergreen Rd Stratford, Mo. 417-468-3644 rusticwoodsrvpark.com Site #215 Dates of Stay: 8/25 - 8/27, 2020 Rating: Located along I-44 near Springfield, Mo. easy to get to. Can exit #88 or #96 from either direction (West or Eastbound). Wide interior roads. All gravel. Nice size sites with concrete patio for the picnic table. We had full hook-up and they seem to be upgraded. Reasonably priced about $40 with Good Sam's discount. Wi-Fi is okay. No cable tv but we were able to get a number of channels using antenna. ATT cell reception was strong. Because it is all gravel, it is dusty. And our site was deceptively uneven. The convenience of being near I-44 results in road noise. Our site was the first one, so it would be more noisy than most but we are not sensitive to road and train noise and we thought it a bit noisy. And there is a train track on the opposite side of I-44. They advertise as dog friendly and they do allow dogs at no extra charge, however, there are no dog stations or dedicated dog walk or park. There are two trash cans that indicate they are dog waste receptacles, neither of which have been emptied in a while. Also, the grass areas on the perimeter of the park was not mowed and full of sand burrs. The laundry and pool advertised is actually across a paved road in an area called Rustic Woods which appears to be a permanent and very long term RV park. We got the feeling that the Rustic Meadows area was mostly occupied by longer term units also. Would recommend for an overnight stay.

Owners, Brandon and Teresa are dedicated to good customer service! Located a few miles off the beaten path, and over hills and charming country roads, is a hidden little gem: B Berry Farms. As you enter the driveway, you are welcomed by a seasonally "dressed" little, directional sign. But if that wasn't enough, if you give them a call first, Teresa will greet you at the front gate. On my arrival, both Brandon and Teresa welcomed me, and Brandon even helped me to back into my site, comically named, "RV There Yet"! The site was fairly level with both 30 amp and 110 available, a mini picnic table, a fire ring, a nearby water source, and even an outdoor toilet facility. Teresa signed me in and then went over a list of available products for the season. She also asked me if I wanted to buy some fresh baked banana bread? "Um... yes please!" I didn't realize how "fresh" the bread was until she told me that she baked it to order and would bring it down to my campsite when it was done. I mean, she had me at "fresh baked banana bread", but then hand delivered to my site? Wow! This was really amazing service. The farm has tons to do: kid's zip line, walking trails, adult size swings, and pick your own produce. There are RV sites, tent sites (some with power), and even a cabin. They also make their own personal care products and use some of their own natural ingredients. You can even order their products online and have them delivered around the country! AMAZING! Check out their website for more info.

My most recent was one of those giant group trips this past weekend. I've also floated at NRO and some crappy site around Steelville (Green's maybe?). There's definitely a reason we keep going back to OEW's and will continue to do so. First of all, Brian, the owner, is a super nice guy. We hadn't made it down there in about 3 years, and he still remembered me "Last time I saw you, you just got engaged!". Though not great at answering e-mails (just don't bother), the staff is quick to return phone calls if you leave a voicemail. The campsite itself has a nice layout, and they keep improving. Port-o-potties are serviced often, and they have a small shower, bathroom, and store close to the campsite (previously they were only available way up the hill, so thumbs up on the improvement!). The showers and bathrooms were clean and well lit, unlike some other places I've been. By the time we booked, the aluminum canoes were all gone, which is usually how we go, because they're cheaper. Now, no longer being the broke college student, I will ALWAYS pay the measly $5 extra for the fiberglass canoes. Molded seats...worth every penny. Remember that. In general, the Niangua is a great river to float on. Decent current, good sand bars, and nice cold water! And if you're going to float the Niangua, go to One Eyed Willy's!

The large camper was so spacious, very comfortable, and all the kiddos had a blast having a sleepover with Grandma in it. Everyone had a nice spot to sleep and we even had a craft game day inside with the family and it fit all of us nicely. The two cabins we rented were so cute and so comfy, very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We spent our days chatting by the camp fire, exploring the creek side, fishing and taking walks over the bridge, it was a peaceful fun adventure with the little ones, something I hope the older ones will always remember and cherish. The hosts were so great at responding to anything we asked for. We had forgotten all our markers and crayons and they brought us a big box with scissors and everything. So grateful it was so close to my sister's house and it was so quiet too, like we had the whole place to ourselves.
