Don Roberts owns and operates this world-class gym. This is a serious gym if you want to get after it--the type of gym that smells of musky sweat and testosterone. There's a giant ceiling fan the size of a helicopter rotor. The gym offers everything you'd want. All heavy-duty equipment. I never wait on a machine. There's even crazy acrobat and cross fit stuff in the back. My favorite thing about the gym is you can get a membership for short stints--perfect for the traveler (Recommendation: Stay at the Comfort Inn in Durango and you're walking distance to this gym). Its a great gym to go to. I have been going there now on my 5 year now. Don has been a great help to me. If i need help and ask him he has stopped what he was doing to help me or show me the proper way to use the equipment so i dont hurt my self. The gym is always glean. I asume the womens locker room is also clean. The mens locker room is always clean along with the showers. There are lockers in there all so for you to use. Every one that i have met in there have been real nice and easy going. There is a lot of equipment in there. Some equipment there are more than one where your not standing around waiting to use them. I have been going to this gym for over a decade. I love this gym because the positives definitely outweighs the negatives. Starting with price, it is more than affordable and the owner Don makes you feel right at home with a personal tour of the facility. His equipment is clean and in excellent working condition. The entire gym is super clean and Don is always in there making sure everything is in working order and tidy. I left the gym for a couple years when I moved and I came back and he welcomed me with open arms and activated my membership with no issues. Love this gym. Always clean and well-kept, never crowded. 24/7 hours are very convenient. The owner Don is usually there during business hours, and is very friendly and encouraging to the members.
