This was on April 2, when the Y charged his account. Because the card was frozen, the payment did not go through. The Y immediately charged my son a $35 fee. I called the bank, but they will not reinstate the card for several weeks. I contacted the Y and they refused to help. Not only that, but THEY RAN THE CARD THROUGH AGAIN FOR APRIL 4 WHILE THEY WERE TALKING TO ME TO TRY TO INCUR ANOTHER $35 CHARGE!!!!! I asked to talk to the branch manager or billing department but was put on hold indefinitely. I tried to call YMCA of Central NY, but they routed me back to the Northwest Branch. I then got an answering machine message. I will go pay the $77 right now so my son doesn't incur a second $35 charge, but neither I nor my son will ever go to the Y again.

The cardio equipment is very poorly maintained and honestly you are taking your life into your own hands if you think of running on one of the treadmills. I can't understand why there are so many people working there and none of them do anything or why the owner allows it. Maybe it's time to lose the dead weight and hire a manager.
