So many benches, machines, free weights, dumbbells, and cardio equipment. Everything is spread out so you don't feel you're in top of each other. Even the bathroom was fresh and clean. Front desk staff was very helpful. When I told them I was in town for a few days on biz they worked out a nice daily rate deal so I could get in my training without taking a big hit on my credit card. Nice crowd here too. Not a typical meathead group but more everyday middle of the road people more interested in staying fit and healthy.

I don't come here often since it's not that close to where I live, but when I do it does the job. 3 ellipticals and a lot of those PreCore machines that are able to work out a few different areas of your body at once. Lots of free weights. That machine that allows you to do pull ups even if your too weak at the moment, by taking off some of the weight for you. Only issue is not much floor space for calisthenics. I was getting ready to sit down on the small seat to do some chest presses. Well, I slid right off the seat onto the floor. Geez, I was embarrassed. My jock act has been blown. Anyway, no one came over to help me up or even ask how I was. Hell, they turned away. I had to go through my dying cockroach act to get up. There were three buff guys in my area. Oh well. Not hurt, just super embarrassed. I'll have to get some shorts with rubber backs so I don't slide. Ha, ha.

Alison was a great instructor even when pregnant! Props to you, girl! I enjoyed the intensity level of the class. I could go at my own pace on the rower, but I was taught how to measure my progress with the split level and the power. It made it easy to follow along but still challenge myself. It was my first time using TRX bands in a class so I felt a bit clumsy with them. Alison did a great job explaining it again to me when needed. Overall great experience for my 1st class and I'll book again! Side note: I also noticed they have a small gym area available for members to get a personal workout in. Only thing I'd suggest is to have some water cups available. Unfortunately, I forgot my water bottle in the car before class and didn't see any cups available at the water station. I was so parched during the workout, but made it through! Lastly, so great that they validate parking with the Hemisfair garage!
