I recently joined FitChicks after watching Roz's energetic and positive videos on Facebook for months, and I am so glad I did. It is not your average gym or your average personal trainer experience. I was welcomed in like an old friend, everyone is so supportive and we have fun. I have never been the type of person who likes or loves to work out but I love going to FitChicks because they are focused on helping us get to our goals, not only through exercise but through nutrition and overall lifestyle. I also needed accountability and they are great about it! They want you to be successful, not just have you join. They take the time to get to know you and truly want to see you succeed. With this being said, the most important aspect of the gym for me has been the LIFE coaching Roz and Kelly provide!! They helped me dive down to determine my personal triggers to over eating (Roz calls them "Gremlins"). By recognizing my personal "Gremlins", they taught me actual steps to help over come those ghastly little monsters. They are truly an incredible resource for total well being. What can I say? These ladies and this place saved my life...literally. I was recovering from full kidney failure 4 years ago and I was referred to this place. They not only got me out of my depression (20 lbs of prednisone and coming off of it can do that), but they helped me get stronger...everyday and in every way. Stronger physically AND mentally. Everyone from the trainers to the clients are so supportive! More importantly, every time I have a session whether it is live or on zoom we are laughing and having FUN! I have been a Fit Chicks! member for some time now. It is more than a gym, it is a community. Everyone supports and respects one another, no matter age, ability, race, religion, or where you are on your fitness and nutrition journey. The small group training allows you to meet many women and develop friendships easily. The trainers are professional and know exactly when to challenge you and when to slow down. Fit chicks is a great place to get on the right track with your diet and exercise. Roz and Kelli do a wonderful job with the work out program it, is set-up to fit each individuals weight, height, and body weight. I feel so much better about myself, since joining Fit Chicks! I feel my body growing stronger. At first, I could only stay on the treadmill about ten minutes. After a couple of months at Fit Chicks, I can do a full twenty-five minutes of cardio on the treadmill. Recently, I wore my favorite little black dress and it fit me beautifully. I am 55 and have had a knee replacement and I was feeling older than my age...my 80 year old mother in law would always say she had as much energy as I had! Coach Roz took me under her supervision and without hurting my joints I can now lift weights and do cardio over a mile and a half!
