They have so many different ones to choose from such as strength training, pilates, yoga, to even barre which Im very excited to try next, amongst many more. I recently did the bike cycling class and my immediate expectations weren't high since I just assumed their couldn't be much to it. However, the instructor Sharon was so motivating and incorporated the resistance bar which was a game changer and really helped get a real work out in. I can't say enough about the Yoga and Pilates instructors too - always a beautiful zen like feeling you get here on top of your workout. The classes are at different times of the day too so there's a lot of flexibility and extremely accommodating if you might get there a few minutes late. It's easy to reserve your class on the app and you can easily delete your booking beforehand if something comes up. All the instructors bring their own unique style and you can see which ones are going to teach what in case you may have a preference. Very importantly, the bathrooms, showers, and steam room are always in tip top shape. The Y here makes me look forward to my wellness routine and truly gives me the best bang for my buck, that's sincerely priceless.

Membership is $50 per month (called "plus") and includes visiting all YMCAs and includes all the classes and childcare at this Y. There is an economy membership that just includes the gym for $19 too I think. The pool here is always perfectly heated to 82F or higher and very clean and well maintained throughout the year. The child care space looks very nice and they have children's programs during school breaks and holidays in addition. To providing child care while parents work out. I have not used the totally new eGym but it looks nice and I have heard people like it. Also the spinning classes are fully subscribed and look to be a fantastic workout. The waterobics is notable for being 6 days per week. It's not overly difficult, more something for everyone. Swimming lessons are available. The pool is large with around 20 lanes for lap swimming plus an open area for other water exercise. The new Women's locker room is really nice. There are individual saunas. There is a centrifuge for drying your suit. There are lockers for day use. I think there are only 2 showers. The back section of the Y is still being renovated but the Men's locker room is still open. Everyone here is happy. You can tell they believe in the Y and they like being there and working there. It's a good positive experience to go.

The floor of locker rooms is not sloped to the drains {not sure how that passed inspection from the city}. This causes a lot of standing water on the floor, which is a very slippery issue, and no grab bars in all showers. We lost at least 200+ sq ft and a crap load of privacy. When you enter locker room from pool area, and if you happen to be dressing needless to say not great. There are 3 changing rooms, but nice long wait after any of the morning pool classes. Going out the front door through lobby leaves water on the lobby floor. It's great that they put down non-skid mats in the lobby, but that is not a long-term solution. Having people who pay extra to use the pool should be able to use gate by the pool is a long-term solution. Here's the problem if you want to use gate, that costs extra. If you would like to use unmanned gate to pool area that, will cost you an extra $10.00 a month. If you want 24-hour access to gym that is an extra $30.00 a year. So why is one unmanned locking gate $120.00 a year for pool, and an unmanned 24-hour access locked door for the gym is $30.00 a year. That makes absolutely no sense. I guess common sense and safety ARE NOT a priority at the Ormond Beach YMCA.

The machines are rarely broken (I feel like everytime I go to the colonial location the machine I want to use is broken so it's nice that they stay on top of it here in Altamonte Springs). I have the top tier membership which is about $30/month (not including annual fee, etc.) There is a sauna in each of the bathrooms as well as a hot studio! No pool at this location. R&R area has massage chairs, cryotherapy, a tanning booth, and hydromassage beds! The classes are fantastic here, and the instructors for the classes always have such a fun personality. Definitely get the app if you plan on taking any of the classes. Registration for classes open 22 hours before the class, and the hot studio classes specifically are a hot commodity so they book up very quickly but are SO WORTH IT! The training staff can be a little pushy with trying to get you to sign up for personal training sessions. HOWEVER, I have no problem telling them no even if they are being pushy. Typically if you walk in and out with your headphones on you can avoid an awkward conversation if you aren't interested in the personal training sessions. I have done a couple of the sessions when I was offered free ones, but honestly I've never been convinced to actually buy more of the training sessions (my work schedule is kinda sporadic PLUS all 3 times I've done it my trainers have been late and it kinda messed up my scheduling for the day, but I appreciate the new exercises the trainers taught me!) Overall as a gym, this is a fantastic location! The staff is friendly (when not trying to get you to buy training sessions) and it's truly a place where I can lock in and get my workouts done :)

Fast forward a week I was charged another $17.23 for his membership. When he went up there they told him they were "investigating" and would call me back. Here we are another 3 weeks later with no word from anyone at Crunch fitness and now they have no history of the $19.36 payment he was "required" to pay when he requested to cancel, the staff member who "processed" the cancellation DID NOT fully complete the process so a cancellation was never sent to my email. I just got off a phone call with the "General Manager" John and he was especially UNHELPFUL. The call started what I thought helpful and understanding, until he started to speak to me in an absolutely condescending tone, unwilling to "meet me in the middle" on a clear clerical error on HIS EMPLOYEE's part. I have never had this many issues in canceling a membership or have been treated with such disrespect.

The gym is beautiful it has a salmon ladder, a warped wall. If you are a fan of the ninja warrior this gym is drool worthy. It is hard to find, there are signs but they are so tiny you can't see them until you are in front of the gym. There is a sign in the front of the gym so you know where your destination is. We signed waviers outside and had to bring them inside to be signed in. I bought my ticket jan 5th. they had lost me and my friend's tickets. SO we had to prove we bought our tickets and get wristbands. Once inside people were just walking around the front office and using the gym without wristbands. I am assuming that all those people just didn't need wristbands. I asked the front desk how did this work? They said just go in and play. I had messaged the gym and asked if this event was for beginners or was more of a "show". This business said it was for "everyone". So I was there for a hour and a half. During that hour I didn't see any staff that worked there. SO I just sat for an hour and a half and watched people run into each other. It was just chaos. I think this business was overwhelmed with the amount of people. As a beginner I was very intimidated. Everywhere i went in the gym, I was in the way for the more advanced people. All the other beginners left. I was waiting for the class at 2pm so that I could get a handle on what was going on. At 2 someone shouted something that I couldn't hear. I couldn't see who shouted it. There was no instructors or fylers handed out. I think this is a nice business and I will try it again when their grand opening is over. I am disappointed that I just sat for 1.5 hours and didn't get to try anything. I wish it was more welcoming and organized because it is a drive out there. I will revise my review when I have tried this gym again.

Not only do they charge exorbitant registration fees and excessively raise class fees every year, but now they've started mandatory fees for rehearsals without consulting anyone. How would you force someone to attend your event just because you decided to do so and keep charging extra money for? They're making every effort to force participation in this event, draining more money from our pockets each day. Customer relations are very weak, and they seem to think they're teaching professional gymnastics when all they do is teach kids to jump and somersault while taking our money. It's a total scam, pure robbery, and massive disrespect. Even their reply to my comment is unacceptable. Why are you charging everyone registration fees every year to cover your insurance costs? That's something you should charge on initial registration or maybe included monthly fees. We should not be victims of your poor business decisions and pay registration fees every year. Also $150 for rehearsals is not the issue and we don't care what you are providing in return. The issue is you are "MANDATING" and "FORCEFULLY CHARGING"everyone without their consent. Just because you communicated since December and decided to put a show by mandating the parents to pay doesn't justify your actions. You claim your show is an extracurricular activity, and we are not locked into anything. Then how and why are we mandated to attend and pay for it. And yes your staff are disrespectful because when I called your staff told me this is how you do business, will keep increasing the prices every year and it's the trainer's and the owner's decision to put a show and mandatorily charge the parents. You should be ashamed of your business model.
