Pain takes many forms: physical, mental and spiritual to name a few. For me, the physical pain at age 39 was simply unacceptable. I refused to surrender my life to physical pain. I have had the privilege of practicing hot yoga in many different places and I have been instructed by different instructors in the Bikram method. Regardless of whether I am in California, New York, Virgina, Nevada or any other place in the world, the pathway is the same. However, the instructor is not. Julie, the owner of Hot Yoga Sanford, is uniquely qualified to guide her students in the Bikram method of hot yoga. She is very knowledgeable about the practice. Julie's mindfulness to the practice stands out as one of her best qualities. Yes, you will sweat. However, you will do more than sweat. You will have the opportunity to nourish your mind, body and spirit. Regardless of your experience level in yoga or your level of health, you owe it to yourself to attend a yoga class at Hot Yoga Sanford. Hot Yoga Sanford, is one of the cleanest yoga studios I have ever been in. Hot Yoga Sanford is designed exclusively for the hot yoga experience. The attention to detail includes not only having heat, but the right type of heat. The placement of mats is not randomized, rather there are lines in the floor to help give you proper balance and alignment. The eye open meditation provides each student their privacy, while still being connected to each other. Simply put, there is no better studio from a physical set up that delivers a high quality hot yoga experience. Located in downtown Sanford, across from the courthouse and a police substation, you can't help but feel safe. There is plenty of street parking. I continue my journey and nourish my body, my mind and my spirit with the grace and love that I get from Julie and the yogis who attend Hot Yoga Sanford. Namaste.

i love avalon for all your metaphysical needs. i didn't get more pictures (but i will add more on…read moremy next trip). i hadn't been back in a moment & was super excited to get inside. this shop has been around for many years & it has everything you could ever need : different sculptures/statues, tarot/oracle cards, herbs, crystals, and books galore. it's not a very big space but it adds on a cozy vibe & energy to your experience. one thing i also wanted to say is that the staff is so kind & helpful. both ashley & katie have been truly lovely & make me want to go back every time. thanks for being around so long for our community !!

That kind of quality for that price isn't something you come by often in this day and age. There are so many things that you can get all at this one store! I can't even name them all. I'll give it a small try. You can get stones, so many to choose from. You can get clothes, earrings, necklaces, tarot cards, a plethora of books on many different subjects, incense, etc.. If you like metaphysical stores, you need to check this one out! This is one of my favorites.
