I've a great experiences at Fit For a Queen. Most recently, Thursday, July 17, 2025. Jordan assisted me and gave me pointers about different brands. I've been alerted that the review I submitted inadvertently show two stars. It is a FIVE STARS store for service, selection, and cleanliness. They even have fans in the large dressing rooms! It's a great place to pick up discounted, hardly worn, or never before worn, consignment clothing in women's plus sizes. They even have beautiful accessories. High end everything. Ferragamo, Kate Spade. Many Talbots clothes ( my personal favorite dependable). I highly recommend. They are open until 8pm most days. read more

Lovely shop filled with quality items, don't skip this one! I spent a good hour browsing the many items this boutique has to offer, in sizes that fit and flattering styles. Their choices of consignment items are lovely and in current fashion or items that are timeless. Plenty of styles to choose from; evening wear to denim, I was very impressed with their selection. The woman that helped me was kind and informative without being pushy and she made me feel comfortable and welcome to browse to my heart's content. The clothes that I went home with were such a great deal, just a great value, with several items 50% off the lowest price and in such like-new shape. You will feel like royalty when you enter this unique boutique! This "new to you" consignment store has experienced a true renaissance. The hot pink décor is snazzy, lively and bright and would put even the most majestic castle to shame. Dazzling jeweled crowns, larger than life chess pieces and charming vintage hat boxes are regally perched on the many displays. Serving sizes L and up/14 and up, the clothing here is in great condition for a consignment shop! Some pieces have original tags still on them. Even if you're a less curvy princess, come in for the superb selection of shoes, handbags, accessories and jewelry! The prices are fair enough for a peasant's budget and it's the cleanest mercantile in the kingdom! The extended evening hours, open until 7 pm, will be a huge convenience to all the duchesses in the land. Of special note is the imperial organization; the items are arranged not only by size, but also by color! You'd think this was a result of a court jester's antics, but no, the owner is a meticulous designer! The new owner, Laura, pays homage to the former owner, Kathi, with a sweet corner named after her. Patrons of Kathi's Kloset will surely appreciate this noble gesture. I'm beginning to believe that there's a shortage of good boutiques and consignments in RVA. We can all make a little bit of "honest" money here, if you're business is good it should speak for itself. I thought the idea of consigning my clothes instead of doing it myself would be better, maybe not! I had done some spring cleaning and found new clothes with tags and some without that no longer fit me. I always believed that before you buy something new, you should rid yourself of the old. I believe I have exceptional taste and 95 % of my clothes were immaculate. I also made sure I walked through the store and compared their threads to mine, what I found is that mine were more stylish and in better condition. (Other reviewer's made the same observation). Also, the entire consignment process was tedious, and poorly constructed. I initially scheduled the appointment with the store owner, spoke with her at length and she never gave me instructions on how to bring the clothes in.( Each shop has different rules) I arrive and, (although disabled, I don't look it but mentioned my pain 15 x) and they looked more able bodied than myself, and blew me off, never helped me with my bags. She asked me to hang up all my clothes on provided hangers, so that she could sort and select. I believe I brought in about 75 pieces of clothing and she selected 8. She said that they weren't name brand and not in good shape, I was in shock, but not surprised. I advised her that she obviously has not looked through the items in her store ( I was not being funny). I did make a purchase, I found a sterling silver chain and some earrings. I am so excited to have a curvy girl friendly consignment shop in RVA!! This boutique consignment shop is decked out in hot pink and is absolutely adorable. The boutique offers everything from shoes to lingerie. Although they have a wide variety of apparel alot of the items I came across were not in the best condition. Some of the clothing was stained and/or stretched out. Overall I think this boutique is a great edition to the West End with alot of potential. read more

I am so glad I took a chance to stop in this morning. Lovely woman in there - helped me look thru the racks and I found a new love of Talbots clothing. The color scheme and shop itself is a breath of fresh air - the employees had pink aprons and a crown on them. I have a punch card and now I can shop more and save. If you are an xl and up - u will find the most fashionable classic and adorable clothing and shoes and accessories. Sorted by size and dressing rooms are very clean with fans. read more

This consignment store is extremely well organized and has very fashionable clothing. The people who work here are very nice and helpful. Not a bad store but some of the prices of clothing I can get at the retail brand new for just about $10 or more so. Wasn't greeted when I came in. They were all in the back talking to customers which was nice but a hello wouldn't kill anyone. I'll try here again in the future just to see how it goes and I'll update my review then. read more

Even though I am not in the size range for this boutique overall, I have found jewelry, scarves and great tees I can use. It has been fun introducing several friends to this shop, and they have found great clothes at incredible prices. Laura has clothing properly sized on well marked racks, arranges the colors and styles together, and generally gives you an enjoyable shopping experience. read more
