Came here hoping they had the same low prices as their website... not sure if that's asking for much? Still definitely cheaper than ripoff places like GNC. The staff was super nice -- we got here 5-minutes before it closed (I corrected the store hours on Yelp now) and she let us in and let us browse, without feeling like we were rushed. The store is well organized -- they are organized by brand names, versus categories. But yeah, if you want cheap prices, come here instead of GNC, but if you want even CHEAPER prices, go to their website fitrx.com, where often times they have good deals with free shipping. I wish they honored their online prices/offers though. Oh well... still cheaper than GNC. read more

Been going to this store for a couple of years now. Prices are competitive with the online sites and they have knowledgeable people. Now that construction is done on Roselle Road, this will make it much easier to get in and out of. My only complaint is that they close early (7PM) and they are closed on Sundays. read more

Liquid and powder profit in bottles. You can find any and all of their products online for cheaper guaranteed. Sure, that's true for a lot of stores.... but damn is it easy to find any kind of body building item at a dozen different websites You know what, most of those things are just processed protein, sugar, artificial nutrients / flavors, and creamer. From my Googling, without doing steroids, there's only so much more benefit you can get from supplements over just eating a lot of eggs. read more

So I have passed by this place over 100 times in the last 5 years and have always wanted to step in. As far as the products they carry, this place is amazing. Wall to wall full of different proteins, pre workout, pretty much anything you could imagine. Prices are good. Only problem being the guy that was working there was absolutely miserable. He had no desire to help us out and when I told him my friend and I were just looking around the store he proceeded to shake his head and walk away. Then watched us like hawks the entire time as if we were about to steal something. Even during check out he had a negative and shitty attitude. Here's some advice, if you hate your job, QUIT. Forget GNC or Vitamin Shoppe. If you are looking to get vitamins or supplements and are in the Schaumburg/Roselle area, FitRX is the cheapest place to get your goods. The only knock I have on them is that their staff (I've only dealt with the same woman every time) is not very knowledgeable about the products. But if you already know what you want, then you are good to go! read more

Been going here for a few years. Prices here for supplements have always been awesome! The guy at the counter has been kind of rude. He is always rushing me out the store when I'm trying to shop and look at other supplements. He was trying to rush me out to continue his conversation with over the phone. This place use to be even better, because the owner or manager would notice you come in a lot and hand out shakers, shirts, or supplements. If this continues to happen the next time I go, I will just start buying my things online. read more

The location is easy to pass up but it is a great find! Best prices around for supplememts, protein bars, and vitamins. There is always the same thin 50-something woman there who is flat affected and not very knowledgable on products nor does she seem eagar to help. I was recently at the Algonquin location and I must say best experience I've ever had in a supplement store to date! I am usually concerned that stores are just trying to sell me whatever they can so I went on thursday and a girl named Sara was working and she was very knowledgeable and a great help! I left with nothing but went back on Saturday and talked to another girl named ashley she gave me the SAME information and that to me was a game changer. I knew I had just found the store I would do my shopping at! I've never received such 1 on 1 attention from a staff at a supplement store it's usually like buying a car.
