Stay Away!!! Fitness Agents (21 Bryanston St, London W1H 7AB) are money grabbing company who doesn't care about you and whether you succeed or fail but their own profits. I am starting off as a personal trainer and in May 2016, I was excited to be offered an opportunity to work in Gymbox through Fitness Agents /Club Training in their Central London club. Soon I realised they take on board anyone and everyone. On the initial 2 day course which they call Start up Business Course called Blast (costing whopping £ 395!!!), it turned out that some so called Personal Trainers they hired and mostly produced themselves cannot even do a proper push up as they come on board after they became Trainers after only 6 weeks course through Training room! How can you become a trainer only after 6 weeks of education? Well apparently you can (that explains why you can be a Personal Trainer and still can't do a push up) if you sign your soul to the devil and pay them whopping £ 3,500 through loan company!!! Knowing this was a big shock to me. Turned out that all these companies Fitness agents/Club Training /Training Room are interconnected to produce large quantities of personal trainers (regardless of the quality) they can profit on. Loads of them will fail, because they DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU! Anyway back to the point, at this stage was too late for me already, as I paid for the course and I accepted the job offer and my licence started on 15th May, so I was due to pay £1,050 on the 1/07/2016. I thought I would give it a go anyway. I still believed that it was genuine job offer and there was a need for personal Trainer in the gym. As soon as I started working it became very clear and my fears were realised and confirmed regarding true nature of this company. Should I have known that the gym they placed me into (and I believe that applies to all the gyms they are working with including Fitness First, DW, Sports Direct, Gymway, etc.) is already overcrowded with 35 or so other trainers I would have never agreed to sign the contract. Fitness Agents and Club Training is all about only money grabbing for own benefits. The managers who talk you/push you into accepting the offer will just speak about how you will meet those unrealistic goals and targets (so he can meet his own targets). They won't tell you that if you fail and won't make money in that short period of time to cover the gym rent (£1050) never mind talking about your own house rend and expenses you will have solicitors chasing you for outstanding debts. If you considering taking up offer by Fitness Agents /Club Training, or you are being bothered by constant phone calls from Training room, please reconsider this... If you are sitting there right now, being pushed and persuaded and misled by one the front sales pushy people representing Fitness Agents and Club Training who just offered you the position and want to sign you up for the course and grab money off you... Hope this review helps. I wish I came across something like this when I was making my own research, but never mind as long as I can help you and prevent you from making same mistake.
Furthermore, I am soooo deeply disappointed that this is what is currently happening in the UK's fitness scene as Fitness industry is something I am passionate about. I am hoping that someone can do something about it, as it is so unfair and demotivating that industry is run by companies such as Training Room, Fitness agents and Club training. It is a disgrace!!! read more
