As with most people, the novelty of the gym soon wore off so that is the reason we stopped going. However, if you are more dedicated than me then you would do well to join here. On your initial visit, you have a meeting with one of the trainers in the gym who talk you through what you want to achieve from using the gym and they set you a plan (free of charge). They take you around all of the equipment and show you how to use it. What I found was a nice touch is that they remembered our names and always said hello when we went. There is a lovely café there that offers good food (healthy and some non!). The outdoor pool would be superb in the summer months.
