These 5 stars belong to one person and I am embarrassed to say I forgot her name! I think it was…read moreDia? I will edit once I find out! This was the third walgreens I visited because I needed aquaphor. They have a deal going on for a pack of 2 and it's 2/$15 so I wanted to snag that deal. Aquaphor is the ONLY chapstick that works for me. Everything else makes my lips peel or crack and I'm pretty frugal so I wanted to save wherever I could. Unfortunately, I could only find ONE two pack. I was desperate and searching around the store for another one, but to no avail. I ended up going to the cash register and asked her if there was another display that might have more in stock. She asked if I checked the other display by beauty and I did, but nothing. She said unfortunately there was no place else. I gave up, but I told her I understood and it was okay. But she filled me in on what walgreens usually does when they get in more stock and to check back then. When she scanned the item, it didn't display the deal I was referring to so she asked me where I saw it. I pulled out my phone to show her my app and she was like "ohhh, I see." she asked to see my phone to look around and said that when the other pairing of a deal is missing, they will honor half of it. SO GRATEFUL FOR THE INFORMATION! SO GRATEFUL FOR HER! My lips were in so much pain so it seriously made my day! I also had a lot of rewards and ending up owning only $1! What a steal! THANK YOU SO MUCH AGAIN! What a gem of an associate!

I cannot believe that Walgreens would hire someone like this... after looking at the reviews seems like this Walgreens has a habit of hiring people that are unprofessional with no customer service skills. A lot do people are after surgeries or have serious issues and faking with someone like LIV is the last thing anyone needs! Walgreens, DO BETTER.

I came in today 1/17/2025 to purchase over $200 worth of groceries for me and my partner. One of my…read moreitems was a 30 pack of beer. My girlfriend is disabled so she does't have a drivers license to verify her age. This has never been a problem before. I come about once a week for reference. The old white dude with gray hair running self checkout then told me to go f*ck myself and began to laugh at me while I was checking out. I will never be returning again. Worst customer experience ever. Try Dierbergs in Lafayette plaza for actual customer service.

I've been using this pharmacy for at least three years, when I changed insurance and found this…read morepharmacy to have the best prices. There's an optional texting system that will alert you a prescription is due for refill. If you agree, you later (generally same day) get a text that the prescription has been filled and is ready for pick-up. If there are no refills left on a prescription, you get a text that they will call your physician to verify the refill. If you don't pick up your refills within five days, you get a text reminder. And I have even gotten a call, if it's been a week. You can opt out of this system any time you want, but I find it quite convenient. You also can order refills online and are immediately given a date and time when the prescription will be available. The pharmacy techs are always friendly and efficient, and ask if you have questions about your prescriptions. If you do, a pharmacist is available. If you get a prescription for the first time, they require a pharmacist consult. I think that's a good idea, and I've been given (multiple times) useful and new information about taking a specific medication. When I go to pick up scripts and there's a line, I do a little shopping or just walk around the store for a bit. Upon returning to the pharmacy, the line's generally clear. My insurance will be changing again soon, so I'll see if I can stick with Walmart. They do a fabulous job, and the pharmacy has great hours.

I have a beef with Walgreens. I checked out today and the clerk asked if I was a member. I said yes…read moreand entered my phone number. He then said, you have $10 credit would you like to use it. I said, sure. I left feeling good that I managed to use some Walgreens loyalty credits. When I reached home, I looked at my phone and discovered that it was not Walgreens credit that I received but he had cashed some of the ThankYou points from my Citi Double Cash account. Walgreens is not the only business to do this. WalMart, Schnucks and CVS do it and I'm sure there are more. I always decline this because they screw you on the exchange. They charge a 25% premium in points used for the credit received versus getting cash from Citi. There is a difference though between Walgreens and the others I mentioned. That difference is that the source of the credit did not appear on the screen that I had in front of me. It was on the checker's screen. So, I did not have a chance to see what was going on and reject it. His question followed immediately after I entered my phone number, so I assumed that it was Walgreens loyalty credit. At the other stores, Schnucks, WalMart and CVS, it is very clear on the POS pad that they are going to charge you more points than the credit you receive. I am sure Citi has a deal with these retailers to split the 25% premium and Citi has a way of getting some of the Double Cash back into their accounts. In return, Walgreens gets some of it as well. If I were cynical, I would suspect that Walgreen's trains their checkers to do this and add a little more to Walgreens accounts as well. This was not a life changing transaction, but I am not happy about the practice. I will think twice before returning to Walgreens and will opt for CVS, which demonstrates more transparency before this happens.
