We have been going to Martinez Tax & Bookkeeping for at least 15 years. This past tax season was an…read moreabsolute disaster. Wynell was hostile and rude, when SHE MADE THE MISTAKES. She accused me of not providing all of our tax documents, when she literally had our 2024 tax return for reference and she did have everything needed to do our taxes correctly. Turns out it was a software issue that did not carryover our information from the previous year. Once the problem was resolved, She actually refused to speak with me and had me speak with another employee to get our tax returns amended. We are getting letters from the IRS stating we owe money. I have to now deal with the IRS because of the incompetence of Wynell Martinez. I can't believe we paid $500 for her service. Will never go back and will never refer her to anyone again.

Carol neglected to update my quickbooks for six months and when I asked for my p and l she completely avoided me until I threatened to sue her. And same thing when I wanted my records back to start a new bookkeeper. Only after I had the police escort me in did she return my records and apologized and we figured our why. She is a crook and I would not be surprised if she finds herself in prison someday.
