On going warranty issue with the new owner Nordik Windows and Doors. Has now dragged on for over 2…read moreyears. Initially had 10 windows replaced by BH in our home in 2013. All good for a few years. 3 windows developed spots, called for warranty in spring of 2020, BH now owned by Nordik. A tech came out and confirmed bad seal, windows had lost gas. Told would be replaced through existing warranty. Waited several weeks for new units, then got call to schedule installation. That's when things went south. Tech got 1 window installed but scratched it. He cracked a second window during the installation and then gave up, didn't even try on the 3rd as he said it was the wrong size. Had to call company to follow up and see what was going on. They said they would order more units and call us when they came in. Months go by and every time I call to get an update I get the same answer, they are on order, waiting for the manufacturer. Went through a cold winter with 1 cracked window and 1 with no gas. Continue to call through 2021, same story.. waiting for them to arrive, apparently blaming the original manufacturer of the windows who is mad at Nordik as they no longer use them as the supplier... but my warranty has to go through the original place, they will not give me new windows from the new supplier. Nordik suggests that I call the original supplier, so I do and they tell me the windows were made and picked up. I tell Nordik this and they say they will try to find them. Go through a 2nd cold winter with 2 windows with no gas. Finally, spring of 2022 we get a call to schedule replacement of only the 2 windows. Guess I live with the scratched one. Installer arrives and cracks both units during installation, says they are too thick. Tells us we will get them replaced... start loop again... no word from Nordik other than random auto emails saying still waiting. Every time I call, same answer, waiting for them to come in. Was given a date of Oct. 20, 2022... called a week later, nope still not in. Looks like we will be going through a 3rd winter with cracked windows. Called the original supplier again who said 1 unit has been ordered but another is on hold as they have not received a purchase order to pay for that unit. Probably why the windows have not arrived yet. Just incompetence all around it seems. Have asked for a call back from anyone, multiple times to let us know what is going on... zero call backs from anyone. Have also filed complaints with the BBB hoping to get some action. Avoid this company as the new owners don't seem to care.

Would not recommend to anyone looking to be satisfied with their home improvements from this…read morecompany. They do not respond to emails, don't care about you as a customer after they have your money, and their representatives will mislead you by simply telling you what you want to hear to go forward with the installation. Then after multiple requests to respond to emails, we were finally offered a rather insulting 5% off on a future purchase or a gift card to the Keg, as if that was supposed to compensate for something.

I paid over 5 thousand dollars to this guy to install new siding on my house.After only 10 months, I had a piece of siding blow off my house 8 months ago and he told me it was not installed correctly and that he would repair it at no cost to me. He lied! I called him many, many times and he promised to come and fix it but he never showed up. This guy is probably going out of business and so it should be. He has a habit of complaining how many customers have ripped him off and has a "wall of shame" in his dark and dank office consisting of rubber cheques from the past 40 years. He will point them out to you and cry at how many people have taken advantage of his good nature....Unfortunately for any new customers he is bound to take it all out on you. He will lie and promise you anything after he gets your good money. It's time for this scammer to retire and stop giving good tin men a bad name. [Less]
