Dude is a scammer, low life, loser etc. He used my business name and got someone to pay him for dumpster. Then calls my business and says he does hoarder clean outs and needs to rent dumpster. Drop it off at address talk to home owner give them an invoice and they say they had already paid. Seemed def fishy. Ken said that a check was over nighted never received kept getting the run around from him. Definitely stay away from this business. read more

There needs to be a ZERO star option! Do not use Ken Rea for anything. He is a third party dumpster renting piece of $hit. He used Gods name like he is all holy and righteous only to turn around and rob people of their hard earned money and a disabled Vet at that! I was quoted for a 30 yd dumpster, received a 15yd. then he completely wasted two days of my precious time after he promised me the other 15yd dumpster Over a two week timeframe, mind you. But, I was in contact with the company he used already and he never even ordered the other 15yd. He then said he'd refund my money....NOPE! Now I'm out almost 600$ and had to pay for my other dumpster. Do not take this mans words or his BS God loving words for any value. Even contacted the payment business he uses to let them know he is fraudulentry using their name on fake refund receipts But they don't give a crap either, probably in on the whole SCAM...yes... Ken Rea is a SCAM! Do not use this third party jer!!!! he won't be doing much more scamming in SW VA...I'm letting everyone know he's a Scammer!!! We needed a thick 8x10 concrete pad (wth rebar in it) and some pavers removed. Showed up on time and workers were very friendly and professional. Had a slight hiccup with the equipment but they were back bright and early the next morning to finish the job. Owner Ken was very responsive and easy to get ahold of. Five Star is not only part of their name, but also the rating they deserve. Hurricane Helene put many Companies to a real test but Five Star passed with an exceptional grade. It was one of the only companies who was able to get a container for our Condo Complex as soon as we requested one and maintained it by checking in daily to find out if it needed dumping -- if it did Ken (owner) generally was able to arrange it to be done the same day. We were contacted by Ken Rea on March 22, 2024, to remove a barrel with hazardous waste. He presented himself as a worker from Spice World company. We arrived the same day to do the removal, and he stated he would mail a company check. Three months later, we still haven't received the payment. We contacted Spice World, and they explained that Ken Rea has never worked for their company. He was hired by them to do the removal and received payment the same day. We tried to make contact for three months with no answer until we did our research and discovered that Ken Rea runs a scam under the company name Fire Star Sanitation & Ideal Inc. He misrepresents himself when booking jobs with junk removal companies, collects payments, and scams the junk removal companies doing the work. We followed up with Spice World, and they were going to contact him again. The same day they contacted him, he finally decided to answer our calls. He insisted on paying with a check, but we did not accept it because we saw all the bad reviews stating he gives fake checks. We made it very clear that if payment wasn't made by noon, we would file a police report. To our surprise, he made the payment before noon.
