Spoke to one of my coworkers and they recommended this course to get my motorcycle license. The course was very priced better than others I could find elsewhere and they had a variety of well maintained bikes to use for the in person portion of the course. The online portion was a bit tedious at times but wasn't super hard to understand the lessons. I had Josh David for the in person portion and he got the group familiarized with and riding the bikes almost immediately thereafter. The course covered a lot of basics and there was ample practice time since I was with a smaller group. Just recommend bringing a decent amount of food and water. The class was about 6 hours per day and was a good amount of sun. They had helmets for us to wear, but you will still need to bring gloves (any normal work gloves are good) and glasses. DMV paperwork was provided upon completion and the course certificate was accepted by my insurance for a discount. I am planning to come back for their more advanced courses after I buy a bike. read more

I attended the Motorcycle Training Foundations (MSF) Beginning Rider Course at Winchester Harley Davidson dealer with instructors Joshua K. and John. Wow, what a surprise at how much I learned thanks to the knowledge, patience, and overall professionalism of the instructors. Each time I tried one of the techniques suggested by John or Josh, it worked like magic and I had a new skill! Things like looking a few seconds ahead to where you want to go when negotiating turns and curves, a quick press to the handlebars on the side in the direction you want to move, and gently dragging the rear brake for stability in low speed manuevers were all game changers for my ability to ride safely. As a new rider I had no idea what to expect. I did all of the online course work and had my certificate printed and ready to go when the classes started on an early Saturday morning. Since I was part of the first course after the New Year, the class size of only 4 riders (plus Kim the instructor) in very cold weather gave us more opportunities to practice riding. I'm already looking for a bike and can't wait for warmer weather to get back out there. I am by no means ready to get a high horsepower bike and get out on the road, but the course gave me the confidence and hands-on experience to continue forward. I just finished my BRC training on July 13, 2024. Both instructors, john k. and Josh k. Were great. The are very knowledgeable and professional also safety its number one for this class and they make sure everyone have a chance to practice and learn during these two days course. I was taking this as a refresher course because I haven't been on my bike in a couple years. It was a thorough review of all the basics and necessary safety procedures. Instructors (John & Joshua K) were knowledgeable, optimistic, patient and supportive. I thoroughly enjoyed the course. They trained us in basic safety, controls and handling of the motorcycle, as well as in real life situations. Such as weaving, weaving to avoid an obstacle, and emergency braking. read more
