I needed to have my shower door removed and replaced with a permanent shower rod and curtain on a semi-urgent basis. I had some delivery issues with the new hardware and curtain and Jake was SO accommodating in changing the date at the last minute. Alex arrived on time and got right to work. He explained in detail what he would do and answered all of my questions. If you have ever removed a shower door, you know there is a lot of material to remove where the track was on the walls and bathtub rim. Alex completely cleaned all of this off and filled in the small holes on two types of tile, which were barely visible when he was done. He made sure that I approved exactly where the new shower rod would be installed and position of the shower curtain above ground. He removed and hauled the old shower door. I could not be happier with the result, and my daughter and husband were able to give my baby grandson a bath in the new setup when they visited for Christmas, without a clunky shower door blocking their access! This is my first time using Fix Brothers, but it certainly will not be the last! I told Jake that have an entire list of things I need done in the near future! I called Fix Brothers to find out if they could replace my kitchen sink faucet. They agreed to come the following day. The guy showed up right on time. He was very polite and got right to work. The faucet was very old and he couldn't get it loose with the tools he had, so he left to go get more tools. He came back and worked on it for a quite a while. He still couldn't get it loose. It was really rusted and wouldn't come off. He finally had to leave for another job. But George, who I had been communicating with the whole time, told me he would get someone there later that day. Our water was off and we weren't able to turn it back on, so we were really hopeful they could finish that day. It took a while for the same worker to finish his other job, but he came back at 8pm that night. We couldn't believe it. He had to cut the faucet off the sink, but he was able to do it without damaging our sink. And he was able to get the new faucet in. We are so happy with it! We will definitely hire Fix Brothers again for other jobs. Thank you so much for sticking with this job until the end even when it wound up being much more challenging than any of us expected.
