Just simply the best choice. I shopped around although the this was by far the most affordable option. The tech, David was so polite and professional. He is much more competent than anyone else I had talked to. They have consistent service for all types of devices as I have taken an array of phones there over the years. They are there for you for any broken tech (within reason of course) that you may have. It's unlucky to have your device break but it it very fortunate that someone like fix my cell is there for you without trying to completely annihilate your wallet like their competition. read more

We came to get our iPhone 11 phone screen fixed, and once the screen was replaced the Face ID would no longer work. The technician informed us he had broken the connection and that it wasn't fixable, and then tried to charge us a $50 bench fee for his time. He permanently broke our phone and tried to charge us. He also took the screen back and put our old broken one back on, and the Face ID still does not work. Really disappointed that a $1000 phone is now permanently broken because of this store. read more

Cheapest price for a cracked/broken/shattered iPad screen replacement both locally and compared to those mail-it-in services. Had my iPad back 2 hours later good for $140. The repair wasn't perfect, hence the 4 stars. Some of the bezel has impressions and the home button is asymmetrical. Not a bad job though. Lesson learned. No glove no love. read more

My Galaxy screen was shattered. They were the only place around that had my screen in stock. They charged $60 less than other places. He was done with it in 2 hours, and it looks nice. I'd recommend this place. read more

I was (stupidly) switching my iPhone cases in my driveway and dropped my phone and completely shattered my screen. I drove directly to Fix My Cell and they told me that they could fix it in 30 minutes!!! He didn't even take that long, it was less than 20! They even cleaned the inside and I can hear everything so much better. These guys are great!! Well worth $100!! read more

I took my cell phone to have a cracked screen replaced. When I returned 2 hrs later to pick it up, I was told that my screen was not cracked. It was my tempered glass screen protector that had cracked. I was so pleased to find out that my phone was fine! The technician also gave me the screen protector back, telling me that I had a lifetime warranty with that screen protector. He encouraged me to take it back to where I purchased it. I had not remembered the warranty! I was impressed with the honesty and helpfulness of the technician who helped me! read more

Went to Fix My Cell to get the power button on my IPhone SE replaced. I ordered the part on a Saturday - paid half the price then. The staff is friendly and helpful. They told me my part would be in by at the latest the following Friday. Did not get in until the two Mondays after I'd ordered it, so I had to wait two weeks since I work during their hours during the week. That is my only complaint. They did a good job fixing it - no problems. read more

I went in to get the screen on my S4 replaced. I was able to pick it up in about 2 hours. They did a great job and charged me 107 bucks, which was the lowest price I was quoted compared to several other places I called. Definitely recommend this place! read more

VERY pleased with the Avon location! Misty and staff jumped right in and fixed a shattered screen for my 14 year old ASAP! Zero down time waited about 45 minutes and we were back in business! We added a tempered glass cover to it and a new case and they put everything on for us. Loved it so much that we went back and did the same for mine. Business should change name to BREAK MY CELL - I took an ipad mini into the southport location - the screen was cracked, but it worked - a week later it had a new screen and was non functional - I was told to go home, download iTunes and connect through iTunes and it would work -- it did not work and I went in today - was told by the manager he did not want to correct the situation and that I had a bad attitude about it -- HMMMM -- I should have read the google reviews first, but the place looked respectable enough from the outside and they said they had the part in stock, etc. --- then, once the glass was removed, the tune changed. It was more similar to the scam of get the customer and the item in, tear it down even if part is not in stock, have customer wait a week and charge for damaging it more than it was! This is the worst and most unprofessional experience I have had with repair service of any type in over thirty years. Several other reviews on google echo this horrible experience. read more

Was told they use OEM screen for my Galaxy 5 and glue didn't hold. Bottom key was sticky after the made the repair. Told it would be a couple hours and came back, they hadn't even started on it yet. They were not busy. Had to come back again, indifferent with customer service. That must be a thing of the past. read more

I USED to LOVE these guys!! They USED to be REPUTABLE!!! I had an issue with my charging port on my S-6 ACTIVE, keep in mind, the Active model is rugged and durable, and on top of that, I keep it in a Pelican case. So, I take it to them for the charging port to be repaired, they told me they had to REMOVE my screen in order to do that, I got it back and it was ok for like TWO DAYS, then all of a sudden, I started having a "Purple Discoloration" that was like "seeping" down from the top, BEHIND the screen, so I called them and told them I thought they didn't glue it in correctly, he told me to bring it back out, they charged me to REPLACE the screen $160.00, so I paid TWICE for that issue, but NOW, after owning this phone for about FOUR YEARS, and it NEVER EVER being broken on the screen, the NEW screen is shattered, I called them and told them I feel they didn't put an "ACTIVE" screen, the more TOUGH and DURABLE screen in, and Dave told me TOO BAD, I was on my own and they are not going to WARRANTY the work!! This is TERRIBLE, and I recommend you NOT deal with them!! As I said, at one time, they were GREAT, but I believe the ownership changed and they no longer CARE!! BEWARE!!!! read more

Took our iPad which was working fine in for a cracked screen. After they replaced the screen iPad wouldn't work. After several attempts fix my cell said it was not fixable. I couldn't understand why so I took it to the ISHOP just down the road. After being looked at by them they inform me someone had broken LCD connector and actually left the screws out of it. I had Josh make the repair. After fixing LCD Josh noticed fix my cell had put a defective screen back on not thinking I would get it looked at again. After confronting fix my cell about it they hung up the phone on me. I don't want anything back from fix my cell just trying to warn others. Also I got the LCD connector fixed and a new screen put on for same price as the defective screen cost me. read more

complete scam. i have purchased my 2nd phone from them because the first one i purchased from them the idiot broke while giving it to me and the 2nd phone ( my current one), the charging port has never worked the best since the moment i purchased it ( which they failed to mention) and i asked them about their 90 DAY WARRANTY which i am still in the 90 day period and they tell me that the warranty does not cover it. April 1st, 2014 I called and spoke with the Southport Location of Fix My Cell about purchasing a tablet they had listed on CraigsList, http://indianapolis.craigslist.org/eld/4371567596.html. Upon calling I was told they did not have that any longer and was told he took it down but craigslist takes awhile for items to be removed. This is a lie, it is instant but I went ahead and let him continue. He told me he had a white one at the same price. I told him I wanted to exchange a 7" Kindle Fire HD and $150 cash. I was told he would do that. I drove from Fishers to Southport to pick up the device and was told they didn't have the white one, that he said he was going to hold for me but they had a black one in Grade C condition, otherwise known as a cracked screen. The store owner when back to plug in my Kindle and the person in back said yes, I made that deal, then a few minutes later the store owner came out and said he would not honor it. He said the Kindle Fire's retail was $100 so he wouldn't pay it, even after making the deal. They bait and switched the device, they are still doing it on Craigs List, then did not honor the deal we had in place. My daughter and I was ask to leave the store at that point. read more

Went in for a simple repair of the screen on a Samsung Galaxy IV. It was not cracked, but the LCD was pixellated. Paid $120, which was fair. As I was bedridden, my fiance brought _immediately_ home. Turned it on. Crack on the left side. I was miffed how the tech could send it back that way. It seemed impossible. Called immediately and left a message, because I suspected they would blame me and refuse the repair. Fiance went back immediately after work, the next day. Told me not their fault. Would repair for "cost," $110. Which, you will note is only $10 less than what I paid for the repair. An insult. Offered to put a screen protector for free. Filing a BBB complaint. Hope to resolve this. Mistakes happen in repairs. But it's up to the business to make it right. "Break My Cell" didn't do that. I recommend avoiding a business which won't admit to, nor correct their mistakes. So much for supporting a local business.... :( read more
