Sanitizing the individual duct/vents was added ($25 extra for each vent) to the originally quoted package which he said only includes sanitizing the main duct, but I wanted that done after seeing the mold build-up on the vent registers. He also helped taking out the moldy vent registers because it's probably better just to replace than trying to clean them. Overall, glad we did the cleaning, though I wish it was clearly stated the vent sanitizing was NOT included in the quote, because the quote just said "...air duct cleaning includes up to 15 supply vents and returns, two main duct per single unit, sanitizer (to prevent mold growth)..." A little update: Later through the check-in with the owner, the owner Nick answered all my questions, told me how to maintain, and that we won't need to do a cleaning again until a few years later. Also after hearing my concern about the mold on the registers, he said the registers needed to be thrown out and replaced, but the ducts behind the vents themselves didn't have mold so didn't have to be sanitized, even though it was my request to sanitize them. I was told main duct/trunk sanitization is what they usually do and individual duct/vent sanitization is not a recommended practice actually. He offered to refund the extra charge for the vent sanitization that I didn't need. I appreciate that honesty and accountability.

Cancelled on me the first day and came three hours late the next day…read more To clean my dryer vent the guy on the phone said it would be a 100-200 bucks. Turns out they charge $30 a foot and my bill was about $750. They were at least supposed to quote me before doing the work but they didn't. I spoke up and they apologized for not showing me the quote first and charged me 400. I paid. And now that I'm playing it out in my mind, I feel like this might have been all by design. I think I was just played big time.

Showed me before/after pictures of the vents and they look so much better. More importantly, we were considering another company that wanted to charge us double LP's rate and said that we had mold throughout our system, which sounded alarmist. The LP technition confirmed that we have mold on our vent covers only and not in our entire system. A much cheaper price for better, honest service. Will use again.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed these guys before…read more I first used them in 2023 after having some frustration with other companies to clean out the exhaust vent for my washer/dryer unit. The guy who came is named Vano. He was personable, considerate, warned me before he started to use the vaccuum ("I'm going to make noise!"), cleaned up after himself as well as dust that was on the floor, building up over the last year. He did the job well, and noticed that we do the laundry almost daily, so there's a rapid accumulation of garbage in the screen that catches all of the lint as the steam exits the exterior of our building... so he said that if we notice it getting clogged-up over the next 6 months, we can just call them to ask him to visit and clean the screen (it's very hard for us to access this screen safely) at NO CHARGE. That makes me feel like I would NEVER use another company for this service as long as these guys have Vano working for them. I am committed to these guys. They are simply 100% awesome.

To my surprise we realized the material and work was not done as per contract. Different materials was used and instead of a torch down rubber roll APP160 he used cold press GAF and most of all Dino never sealed the roof with aluminum paint. I reached out to Dino to resolve these damages but his response was "the roof needs maintenance." I also asked Dino to come and inspect the roof himself but he said " unfortunately that's not going to happen." I was so furious! My roof was only done three years ago. I would not recommend this company to anyone! He's in Breach of Contract, Breach of Warranty and Consumer Fraud.

In August of 2022, my husband and I decided it was time to replace the roof on our home in New…read moreJersey. We spoke to roofers and hired Intact Contracting Inc., based out of Cliffside, NJ, according to their web page. Dino, who we believe owns the business, quoted what we thought was a reasonable amount and the project would be finished within a few days. On day one, Dino showed up with his crew and they started immediately to remove the old roof. Dino left shortly after the start of work and returned later, after one-half of the old roof had been removed. That is when he announced to us that in order to continue the work, he would need an additional 66% on top of the previously agreed upon amount. We were stunned and speechless. With 1/2 of our roof removed, we had no choice. We would not be able to get another roofer at that point and our house and belongings were in jeopardy of being ruined during the first rain. We protested and Dino's response was that he needed the money to feed his children but that he would deduct $300.00 from the new price, a deduction of approximately 2% of the total, increased, cost. As the day wore on, we realized we had no choice and had to come up with the additional funds, not a simple process for senior citizens on a fixed and limited income. It was an unconscionable move on Dino's part. When the job was finished and the crew left, the dumpster Dino had provided sat in our driveway, a few feet from our door. When we asked Dino when he was going to remove the dumpster, he responded that it wasn't his problem and that we should call the phone number on the side of the dumpster to have it hauled away. A day or two after the completion of the job, we noticed that the ceiling on our summer screened-in porch had hundreds and hundreds of nails poking down thru the ceiling. That summer porch is our main living area in good weather and the ceiling is a beautiful teal blue. The nails completely ruined the beauty and integrity of the ceiling. We immediately called Dino and he came to look at the porch. His reaction was that he could fix the problem by re-doing the roof but we would have to pay for labor and materials. We explained that ""no", his company was responsible for the damage and therefore responsible for the repair, including all labor and materials. Dino replied by telling us he would hire a lawyer and sue us if necessary. We asked what he thought he would sue us for. Of course he did not have an answer. After much back and forth he finally agreed to repair the damage. Earlier in the year my husband and a friend replaced a small, outdoor porch roof, using the correct size nails. When this was pointed out to Dino, showing him that his crew had used the wrong size nails for the entire job, Dino had no response. The last part of this saga is that when we went to the attic to examine the new roof from the inside, the same issue was there with long nails sticking thru to the inside of the roof. Bottom line, we seriously advise anyone looking to replace or repair their roof to avoid Intact Contracting. Our experience with them was a nightmare and we hope no one else has to deal with these problems.
