In looking at the…read moreprevious photos, it looked like there was not much at this gym and it seemed like there were photos of apartments. Yes there is an apartment complex adjacent to the gym. I think the gym is owned by the owners of the apartments and residents might be able to get a discount. See my photos because there really is alot of equipment at this gym. Some of it is older equipment but more than enough to have a great workout. The normal guest fee is $10 day or $20 for the week but my son and I went for $5 each on a special. See my photo for the normal fees. They have a cardio area, machine area, and free weights area. Dumbbells go up to at least 100 lbs. It was not crowded while we were there on a Saturday. The worker was friendly and she said weekends are not busy but week day afternoons can be busy. They also have good water fountain, speed bag, pool, and hot tub. Sauna was under repair (March 2022) Definitely a good workout option in Safford area.

That being said, I went by and tried to get in for a daily $10 workout as it states in the photo. However, no one was there to let me in and no one answered the phone. Turned out that I went to 8th Street Fitness which had everything I needed and the people were friendly. This place might have newer equipment but the overall size was not big and for visitors it is tough to get in on the weekends. Might be good for people who live in Thatcher/Safford area. Also in the door sign, you will see they do not allow kids 15 years and under to workout even with a parent. So that eliminates 9th graders and some 10th graders.

This is a great facility in a small town!…read more There are lots of amenities that fit every fitness need, from an indoor track and outdoor pool, to weight machines and an indoor rock wall. There is also an indoor pool with a slide for kids and families to enjoy. There are both free weights and machine weight. There are two basketball courts, meeting rooms and free towels for daily use. On the main floor there is an area specifically for TRX. The climbing wall isn't always open since they have to have staff belay you, even if you know how to rock climb. It features a couple auto belays in addition to top rope but probably due to liability reasons, it's only open when they have enough staff to watch you. In addition to the indoor track on the second floor, there are ellipticals and treadmills with a couple machine weights. The aerobic machines have TVs and you have to make an account or sign up with your Facebook account to be able to watch live tv, shows, music, etc. There are monthly activities that you can sign-up for, such as fitness classes and sports leagues. Check their website for more details about the programs they offer for kids, adults and families.

After several messages and emails explaining what had happened, they would not reship my order to correct address. Although I checked with previous address (apartment complex) the package was not found. After repeatedly asking for their assistance and making this error right, they refused to answer me and told me to file a claim with the post office. The post office will not accept the claim as the tracking number shows it was delivered. I would not give this company any business, customer is service is poor at best, and now I am out $47.00. Stay away.

I've been going to HOT YOGA there pretty regularly as it's the only place in Safford that offers it and it has helped my hip pain and increased my flexibility so much. Also, they offer great massages with several highly qualified practitioners. My husband got me a massage for my birthday and my back felt so much better even after just one visit. If you haven't gone to yoga or gotten a massage here - You're missing out! Everyone is friendly, the environment is relaxing, and the prices are reasonable. I can't wait to book my mom for a massage for Mother's Day!

The ground crew is just as welcoming and entertaining as the pilot, Greg, and Crew Chief, Susan. Flying over my home town was such a thrill! The flight was smooth and calm! I felt safe and secure the entire time! Even the celebration at the end was memorable! It was so nice to have a private ride and not have to share a tight space with several other strangers, like with the larger balloon ride companies. I didn't mind paying a wee bit more for that luxury. I highly recommend booking a ride with AZ Air Ventures!

A beautiful Bureau of Land Management site just a few miles from Safford, AZ. It's about 23,000…read moreacres and is home to a variety of birds and animals. A section of it follows some creeks with flowing water. Along that section, the plant life is vibrant and bright green. As you drive through, there are several points of interest and some camping/picnic areas. There are many roads to choose from, so be sure to check a map to know if it's a dead end. Some of the roads are marked primitive and they aren't exaggerating that! A four wheel drive vehicle would be best. We noticed several jeeps doing some off-roading. There are some bathrooms in a few of the areas, but we ended up in an area over close to the mine that had no bathrooms.
