What would we do on our weekends if you didn't exist?…read moreNewly, well almost a year old now, purpose built location several metres down from its older premise, this Bunnings packs a punch and is always buzzing with activity during the week and definitely the weekends. It's a full range store, with a trade area attached to it. Sausage sizzle on every weekend shows the involvement and support of its local community. Now who can resist that?! I usually hit up this place for its comprehensive garden and plant range. What's nice is that the outdoor garden centre also has two checkouts and a entry/ exit so you can wheel your trolley of mulch, dynamic lifter, pots and plants straight out to your parked car just right outside. The staff are always on hand, cheerful and ever ready to answer your questions or direct you to the next best person who can. It's a nice seasonal indication too, you'll know just by looking at what's on offer in abundance, indicating the coming season and every time you visit there's bound to be something on special. This store also has a small cafe and playground towards the end where outdoor furniture meets garden centre is. As you would expect, things are well laid out and sign posted although as its a huge, huge store, I usually just ask the staff specifically where the things I'm looking for are. Whilst Bunnings is strictly not high-end, majority of the products are of very high quality and you do get named brands as well. This place, continues to bleed me dry on the weekends! How could you not buy at least something when you come here?!

I've read a few reviews from unhappy customers and simply can't understand how their situations arose - you'd really have to try to have a negative experience here.

The staff at Mondo Luce are very helpful and know their product range quite well, they will take you through a large selection of lighting until you find something that works for you.

Lamps, frames, clocks and mirrors line the walls, and with so much on display you'd best watch your back to avoid breaking anything. Downstairs you'll find smaller trinkets, jewellery and even a wall full of Ugg Boots and leather hats. I stop in every time I'm in the area, even just for a browse. It's hugely popular with the weekend tourists, and more often than not, packed full of people enjoying the range.

It was like being sucked into a time machine, and transported back into a dusty old attic that was filled to the rim of incredible individual antique items. There were compasses, telescopes, magnifiers, lamps, paintings, posters, books, sculptures, notepads, jewelry and pretty much anything you can think of. Most things were hand crafted and bronze or wooden, this is definitely a very unique and one of a kind type of place. I think I spent an hour in this shop, its not that it was a huge room (it was relatively large though), it's just that every inch of the store has something different and special that just has to be picked up and ogled at. It took a lot of effort to not buy the whole store; I ended up leaving with Dali's melting clock, which gets a lot of notice and compliments in my house.

Justin the manager is an extremely customer service oriented person, and highly organised and efficient, and I've been absolutely blown away by the customer service not just the high quality of the items I've purchased! Thank you Justin for your incredible customer service - so refreshing given you don't see that much any more these days. Thank you for your dedication and commitment to help your customers get what they want (especially me lol!), and for being a really decent trustworthy guy. Posh Gully is pretty hard to find as it is tucked off Ferntree Gully Road in a block that looks…read morelike factories. It is right opposite Mountain Gate Shopping Centre and is really worth a visit, so hang in there. I can guarantee that you will find it eventually. Look out for the giant Salvos store on the left. Posh Gully is a division of the Eastern Bargain Centre but it stocks completely different things. It has beautiful home decor items mainly but it also stocks random things like jewellery and toadstools that are actually the size of a stool. Those were particularly cute I must say. Last time I went they had just put out all their christmas stock and they have some great stuff - really unique. The staff here don't make themselves obvious and if you want help you will have to head over to the counter and ring a bell before you get it. That's the price you pay for great bargains I guess. The prices here are fantastic and most of the stuff looks a lot more expensive than the price tag affixed to it.
