There is a reef offshore still within the protected lifeguard area which is perfect for snorkeling. There is no admission charge for the beach but chairs will cost you 4 euro for the day. Lots of British tourists and a few locals use the beach die to the close proximity of all inclusive resorts. The volcanic rocks surrounding the beach are attractive as they contrast with the sand. Many Lanzarote beaches have black sand. A tip is to go to the edges of the beach where there are less people. Water temp, even in the winter, is tolerable. Great views at sunset, as well!

If you walk a few meters from the entrance to the beach, there is always enough free space and you are undisturbed. The sand is very fine and a mixture of black and white sand. If you go into the water it takes a while until it is really deep. So it's ideal for children.

Coralejo town is a step away and you can sun yourself all day and then hit the bars or restaurants in the evening. At all times I felt safe, we always went to new and interesting sites and we had fun !!! The staff are very professional and the facilities are great. If you don't travel with kit then you can loan whatever you need from them. Lots of checks done on equipment and everything kept clean and tidy. If I could rate manta more than 5 stars I would !
