All of the beaches on the island tend to be small, after a visit to Dorado, you will find it one of the better beaches in Playa Bianca. There is a reef offshore still within the protected lifeguard area which is perfect for snorkeling. There is no admission charge for the beach but chairs will cost you 4 euro for the day. Lots of British tourists and a few locals use the beach die to the close proximity of all inclusive resorts.
The volcanic rocks surrounding the beach are attractive as they contrast with the sand. Many Lanzarote beaches have black sand. A tip is to go to the edges of the beach where there are less people. Water temp, even in the winter, is tolerable.
