The school itself is a very calming environment and the director is very communicative, attentive, flexible and helpful. My son comes home with a strong interest in learning to spell all the words he sees in his environment and at 4 can sound out the letters to spell short words on his own, which indicates to me that they are preparing him for kindergarten despite him not yet being in a VPK program. We've sent three of our four kids through the school, and the staff consistency has been amazing. It always felt like the same friendly, helpful faces each day. The teachers are truly dedicated and genuinely care about the kids. The entire facility is always clean and organized. The artwork they send home is top-notch--our kids were always so proud to bring it home. One of my daughter's teachers would routinely do her hair in fun, fancy styles just to make her feel happy and special. The overall structure of the program is outstanding. We always felt our children were safe--never a worry about security--and the communication has been excellent. Kim, the director, is warm, professional, and always helpful. She's guided us through decisions when we were overwhelmed and always understood the stresses parents face. She goes above and beyond to ease those stresses and offer support. BEWARE! We fell behind on our tuition. I admit that. Things happen. It's been a difficult few…read moremonths for us. The owner took ALL of it out of my bank account at once without any warning or notice. She did it in several withdrawals, in one day, adding up to over $1,200. It put my bank account in the negative by 400 dollars and has made me unable to pay my car payment. I get that we owed her money. But no one should have the right to steal a thousand bucks right out of someone's bank account. The owner screamed at me to "let her talk!" as I was **BEGGING** her to put the money back and telling her, with proof, that I sold stock and would have the money in two weeks. I get that she's running a business, but taking all the money out of someone's bank account is LOW. DO NOT PAY TUITION HERE WITH A DEBIT CARD!!!! *wishing me "all the best" while leaving me a voicemail threatening to "call the attorney general" about a yelp review that simply warned people not to give you access to their bank account is pretty disingenuous. *AND THEN... CALLING MY WORKPLACE AND BADMOUTHING ME TO A MANAGER? SERIOUSLY? All I did was tell people NOT TO GIVE THEIR DEBIT CARD as a payment method! I never disparaged the school itself or the teachers or the care my child received. I sure as hell will now and warn people of the absolutely shameful tactics Paula has employed since she took all of my money out of my account. Thankfully, my manager did not stoop to talk to her. Ridiculous.
