My oldest son, Remy, started in the toddler classroom at just 21 months old. Until then, he had only ever been home with me, so the decision to send him to school was a huge one. I spent months researching schools and Montessori education, touring different facilities, and trying to find somewhere I would feel completely comfortable leaving my baby. From the moment I walked through the doors, I knew this place was different. The children were happy, the guides were warm and welcoming, and the classrooms were immaculate, beautifully organized, and thoughtfully designed for little ones. It was unlike anything I had seen at any other school I toured. For the first time, I felt completely at peace with my decision. Remy will have been attending for a year this November, and the growth I have seen in him has been incredible. His independence, confidence, social skills, and love of learning have blossomed. His main guide, Ms. Jessy, holds such a special place in my heart. She goes above and beyond for Remy and every child in her classroom. She has a beautiful way of treating these little ones as capable, independent humans rather than babies, encouraging them to explore, learn, and do things for themselves. You can see how much she genuinely loves what she does, and I am so grateful that Remy gets to learn from her every day. My experience with Remy was so wonderful that when it came time to enroll my youngest son, Rhett, I didn't hesitate. He started in the Nido classroom this past April at just THREE months old! If you had told me before finding this school that I would feel comfortable sending my three-month-old baby to daycare, I never would have believed you. But that is how much trust and confidence this school has earned from me. The love, patience, and attentiveness the staff shows both of my boys is something I will never take for granted. One of the things I appreciate most is the environment they have created. Every classroom is always so clean, neat, and thoughtfully arranged with age-appropriate materials. Everything is child-sized and designed to encourage creativity, exploration, and independence. There is so much intention behind every detail, and it truly shows in the children. What makes this school even more special, though, is the people. Last month, my husband underwent brain surgery, and our family was going through an incredibly difficult time. The entire staff checked in on us, showed genuine concern, and went out of their way to support our family. They even allowed Remy to stay for the full day instead of his usual half day so I could be at the hospital with my husband. That kindness meant more to me than they will ever know. It reminded me that this is so much more than a school or daycare. It is a community of people who genuinely care about the children AND the families they serve. Both of my boys absolutely love going to school, and there is no greater feeling as a parent than knowing your children are happy, safe, loved, and thriving when they are not with you. I am beyond grateful for every single person who makes this school what it is...especially for the Toddler guides (Ms. Jessy, Ms. Lauren, Ms. Lilah), the Nido guides (Ms. Patty, Ms. Kelly and Ms. Lorena), and management Ms. Nikki and Ms. Meagan! Ms. Delfina and Ms. Erika are phenomenal Montessori guides who truly care about our daughter's growth and development. We especially appreciate their focus on practical life skills; helping her learn to put on her own shoes, share and interact with her classmates, express her feelings, and understand the importance of community. Since starting at Guidepost, we have seen tremendous growth in our daughter's speech, independence, confidence, and curiosity. It's amazing to see how much she has learned and how excited she is to continue learning. It's very clear that she is very good friends with the owner, and bases her recommendation on her relationship with the owner. If your child has any special needs or delays, DO NOT even consider this place. They have zero patience, zero tolerance, and are borderline discriminatory against children with special needs. I enrolled my child over summer (and provided full disclosure about my child's needs), hoping he'd get adjusted and prepared for the school year, however there was very little structure, and the teacher seemed very inexperienced (i also never met her or spoke directly to the teacher once). I received a tiny slip of paper with a daily report that said he was "happy" everyday, yet they kicked him out. I offered to have him attend with a shadow or one-on-one (paid by myself with a background check and credentials), and the director had already informed me that they allowed this for another student, but suddenly they wouldn't allow this for MY son. She also informed me that two other students in the classroom were "challenging" and therefore they couldn't handle my child. Keira, the director talks in circles and Circles and can't get her story straight. I'm sure she's a good person, but she is does not do well with handling well educated and involved parents. I've now been waiting for over a month for a refund of my registration fee because they refused to allow him to attend. It's very sad, they are only a great school if you're in their click and your could is PERFECT. I'm actually considering a discrimination lawsuit, because of the unfair treatment my child and my family endured. Not to mention, most other preschools are on waiting lists, and we now have no childcare for our child, and both parents work full-time. We registered him in May for the Fall, so we were looking in advance and making sure to be prepared. I'd like to add that they have great social media sites on Facebook and Instagram. I follow both sites, and during the entire month of June when my child attended and participated in the weekly themes (dressing up for super hero week), they posted TONS of photos of the children from ALL of the classes, and my child is not in ONE photograph. That's heartbreaking for a mom to be unable to see her child in school, and then also to see my child is not included in any photos posted (I gave permission for my child to be photographed).

Our son went from being home with us, to a class of 20 with only 2 teachers and it was very overwhelming unfortunately. We really noticed the difference once we moved him to a smaller daycare. His vocabulary and behavior improved significantly moving to a smaller class size. I would definitely recommend Kingswood if your child handles large class sizes well or if your child has always been used to that type of environment. The teachers are very nice and friendly, the amenities are very clean and up to date. They have lots of fun activities for the kids throughout the year. Just really didn't work for our child.
