He was having a lot of behavior issues he had never had before, he was bit by another student on his first day and it just kinda spiraled from there. Our son went from being home with us, to a class of 20 with only 2 teachers and it was very overwhelming unfortunately. We really noticed the difference once we moved him to a smaller daycare. His vocabulary and behavior improved significantly moving to a smaller class size. I would definitely recommend Kingswood if your child handles large class sizes well or if your child has always been used to that type of environment. The teachers are very nice and friendly, the amenities are very clean and up to date. They have lots of fun activities for the kids throughout the year. Just really didn't work for our child.

The front staff are welcoming to the children. Many staff enter with smiling faces ready to start their days. Children that enter with tears will then run into staff's open arms to be consoled as they say their goodbyes to parents/guardians. They communicate ever minor bump your child may receive in their normal play to making you aware of changes in teachers, activities, etc. Stomachaches, changes in mood/behavior, etc ... everything. Both verbally and in writing. It's a mostly bilingual staff so children will be learning Spanish if they don't know any prior. If I get a call during the day, I know they are monitoring the children and see something that needs to be addressed. For issues that are pressing I will get notified when picking up. They help with potty training. Boys take so long, but they are willing to assist with the process. The VPK has the little one moving in leaps in bounds. Classrooms have designated centers to addresss every area of their education. Children are complete chatter boxes every day letting me know all that they've learned. On Monday they pick up folders with homework for the weekn. You submit the folders back on Friday morning. The following Monday you will recieve completed packets with the new packets for the coming week. You will feel secure with staff and the facility. Your children want to come to school and other staff and children notice when your child is away. The care they receive make it easier to leave them. This place is as good as it gets.

I visited more schools in the span of a couple of weeks than I can recount. I was focused on finding somewhere that had everything I was looking for, but mainly I wanted to find somewhere with the right atmosphere, which turned out to be more difficult than I ever could have imagined. The things I saw before this school - yikes. This specific location of The Learning Place Preschool was just LOVE at first meet. The facility was sparkling clean and smelled fresh, unlike a lot of others I visited that smelled of bleach to cover up smells. The toys and play equipment were all in great shape and clean unlike others. The kids were so happy too. ALL of the staff was welcoming. Every single one. They were kind and paid attention and they ALL seemed to genuinely enjoy interacting with all the kids. Ms Jessica, the Director, answered all of my questions and was incredibly knowledgeable about education and helped to quell a lot of my anxiety. They ALL made the transition for my daughter is gentle and as easy as possible. They prepped me on what to expect and how to best transition her. They stayed with her every step of the way through the tears and made my daughter feel safe and loved. She's now excited to go to school every day and every day is 'the best day ever' when I pick her up. She eats breakfast and lunch there each day and is now eating and enjoying new foods that she refused to try before! The school offers onsite Karate and Dance classes provided by reputable local companies as a super affordable add on option that both my daughter and I love! It's so convenient that she is able to participate during school. The school is also incredibly affordable compared to others and offers so much more for your money. The owner SAM GRANT did reach out and was demeaning toward my wife regarding her concerns about what had gone around in neighborhood forums and the actions not taken on his behalf and the director of operations. He stood behind employees and acted as if it was a joke. When in actuality this matter is extremely inappropriate and as a business owner should know how to conduct himself professionally before his treasure of a success becomes a complete fold.

He was pushed off outside playground equipment from the other child and broke his collarbone. The teachers told my father upon pick up that my son was playing somewhere he should not be. For a couple weeks before the incident, he was coming home with severe bite marks, he started regressing in his potty training, and fell severely ill after being fed a bad cup. Their insurance company or school won't release the video surveillance showing the incident but the CPS agent already admitted to viewing the tape and agreeing to negligence. To my knowledge, those teachers are still employed and the child that bullied my son for weeks is still in attendance.

The scratches were from her face to her arms to her pelvic to her legs. I saw only the one on her arm from the daily pictures in the tadpole app. When I called to ask Wanda consciously lied saying she came like that. That was so alarming because as any parent or caretaker or human being can imagine that any scratch will hurt and will cause a baby to cry. This is a disgraceful person. It was obvious NO GLOVES were used!!! And she did not report it. It was reported to the director and an occurrence report was done what I was further disappointed was that the next day before dropping my daughter off I wanted to make sure that Wanda was not there and she was. She should have been suspended until the true story was told. I did not drop her off. I took off and lost a days pay. I want to also point out. That day the meal report was wrong as well. items that i didn't provide my daughter were listed. God forbid she was allergic. I immediately withdrew my daughter from here. She was taken to the doctor to get it documented and the doctor was very surprised about this. My daughter is well but I don't trust daycare places any longer. I don't know what the status of her is. I am hoping she is expelled. The fact that she LIED is enough to know that this is a person that is not mentally stable. She is an abuser because she hurt my baby and lied. Pictures are attached.
