I recently had a full body massage here and I had a great experience. The staff was very nice and promptly greeted us upon entering. We were led back to the room where I was able to sit and fill out my paperwork and then met my massage therapist. She did a really good job. I felt relaxed and comfortable the entire time. I don't experience a lot of muscle soreness, but the experience is still enjoyable and I felt great afterward. I would definitely book another appointment here when visiting Flagstaff in the future. I want to say the service itself, the facial, was great. This place is getting one star because of a payment issue they haven't resolved. My partner paid, up front, for a 90-minute facial as a birthday present (left gratuity as well). This was in September. When I went back for my service, my esthetician recommended a 60-min facial because it would be a better fit for my skin type. I was told, when I finished and inquired about a refund since we didn't do the 90 minutes, their manager wasn't there to do it and they would take care of it later. A few weeks passed a refund had not been processed. We followed up and simply got the run around. Therefore, we paid for a 90 minute service but only received a 60 minute service. I don't recommend them based on this issue alone. read more

I can receive similar services in Sedona, but I drive 2hrs RT because Angie's skills are superb! She is extremely proficient and knowledgeable. Her injection results are on par with plastic surgeons. The ladies that work here are all super friendly and helpful. I personally haven't had a service done here but I've purchased gift cards for my wife and she's been on several occasions. She always leaves pleased. In fact, for the duration of her pregnancy with our 3rd baby, she was there once a month for prenatal massages and she says that's mandatory for any expectant mother! The place is clean and they seem to have a lot of additional products for sale in house too. It's great that they are locally owned and not a big chain, so we like to support them too. read more

My husband and I both had a scheduled massage here. They realized we were together so they turned our individual massage into a couples massage which was fine but we both would have preferred individual massages. Honestly, it was a bad recommendation because my massage therapist was quite different than my husbands. She got done a lot quicker and kept going over to his therapist to see when she was going to be done and it just felt awkward when she would return back to every time like she was expected to keep massaging me. Idk it wasn't the best experience. However, the greeting staff was very friendly and the environment was peaceful, quiet and very welcoming. I believe my husbands massage therapist is named Taylor! Jill M. is a great therapist and really knows her stuff, I've been to many different spas and the services here rank up there with the best. The staff is courteous and friendly and the pricing is very reasonable. The waiting area is comfortable and relaxing. I recently had a facial and couldn't have been happier and intend to start adding that to my routine. I also have started laser hair removal and am very excited with the results so far, it really works! Love this place! It's very clean and professional and the staff is friendly and helpful. The establishment is very relaxing. As I am sensitive to perfumes and similar odors I appreciate how you're not overwhelmed with any "spa" scents here. I've gotten several facials and would definitely recommend the hydro facial. They use the hard wax for Brazilians-so none of those painful strips! Finally, at other spas I've always felt pressured to buy face products after the service, I really like how they've never done that to me here. My husband and I came here for a couples massage as a part of our First Anniversary weekend trip. I gotta say, it was AWESOME! For starters, we loved that the place was smaller and seemed more intimate and comfortable. All the snow around the building made it seem very cozy and romantic as well :). We were greeted right away at the door and we felt like we were not only welcomed in, but expected. We arrived a tad early for our appointment, but we loved the personal touch. We met our therapists, and then were escorted into a wonderful candlelit room with rose petals everywhere, even on the blankets of our heated tables. They had wonderful herbal scents flowing in the room along with sea sounds and relaxing piano music in the background. Both of us were very pleased with our massages and felt like a million bucks when we were done. We then went to go take care of our well deserved payment, and had a chance to visit with the staff and our therapists for a few minutes. They were very nice :) We were shocked to hear that they had charged us less than the already low price I was quoted when I made our appointment. My husband made up for that by giving them a very generous tip. I would have to say that I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great massage experience in Flagstaff! read more

I love this spa! Flag Face and Body focuses on skin care more than the average beauty salon, so expect very professional care. I have gone here regularly for massages for years now, and really enjoyed a relaxing couples massage with the hubby last Valentine's Day. Massages are more affordable if you purchase a package deal or join the frequent spa visitors club. She made a recommendation for monthly micro-needling sessions to get me ready for my wedding. I just had my second one with her and I am very pleased with the results. She has been great! I used to love this place. But after 2 years of filling my lashes here, and paying an obscene amount of money over that time, the customer service has changed. Karen is so rude and has no customer service skills. I called FFB asking for my lash technicians contact info because she is moving and I needed the info of the person she referred all her clients to. Of course Karen is no help and keeps saying no. I think customer service fails when there are no options laid out for the customer. FFB may look five star but the service has become sub par. read more

I had hair removal done and nearly half of the hair was left! There were also stripes of wax left on my skin. I commented on this and was told that I could "clean it up later" ...In case you're thinking it's just me and my hair, I've been to a few other places in town and never had this happen before. It was very disappointing, especially for the price. On another visit I had a facial. The experience was just ok, and the women dropped a glob of a moisturizer containing sunscreen right on my eyelid. She frantically told me not to open my eye as she tried to wipe it off while squishing my eyeball... I was not impressed. Several of the products she put on my skin made it burn, but my concerns about this were brushed off. Maybe the burn lets you know the product is working?? Not my idea of fun. After all was said and done she then tried to pressure me into buying a $35 bottle of face wash. I did have a nice massage here, but the massage therapist has left this business and I haven't been able to find her yet. I will not be giving Flag Face and Body and more of my money, ever. read more

I used to love this place. Over the past 2 years, something has happened. I don't know if it is new management or what. The best massage therapists are leaving in droves. They all have been very professional about it (better opportunity, moving, blah, blah), but their faces say otherwise. They are being replaced with therapists just out of school. Everything was good until we showed up! My sister and I went there together to celebrate her birthday, I get massages often however my sister had never had a massage so I got her and I one of the spa packages that came with a rock massage and a facial when she found out she was so excited she talked about it for days! When we showed up they had an advertisement for a chocolate pedi my sister started saying how awesome it sounded so of course it's her birthday so I asked if she wanted to get one of those too the receptionist told us "those are awesome and you could add it on still if you would like" so I did they took us in back to do our paperwork and before you know it our day of relaxation was about to begin, or so we though. They took my sister back first followed by me. I went in for my facial followed by my massage when I came out I went to the reception desk to pay as my sister was not done yet and the receptionist told me that she had just went in to start her pedi I asked to go ahead and pay then and as I was trying to figure out the tip I asked the receptionist if my sister had anybody that performed more than one service on her and she said no I said ok so I need to tip 5 different people right she said no 4 so I told her no that wouldn't be right because I had all different people and if she did too that would have been 2 people that did my services (massage & Facial) and 3 for her (massage, facial & pedi) she said no we didn't do her massage she just did the facial and the pedi. I was livid I made reservations ahead of time to make sure that she could get that massage and the receptionist took it upon herself to remove it without even telling me or my sister so after her facial I found out they put her in a room to sit there and wait for them to have time to do her pedi (in this time they could have been doing her massage as this was when it was originally scheduled) her reasoning was because the services were going to last over 3 hours and you cant have over 3 hours of services I told her that was ridiculous, if I wanted to spend all day at the spa I could so that is no excuse to try and cover her mistake. She said oh well I thought you wanted to get rid of one of the other services for the choc pedi and I said no you said we could add which to me means add it on to what we already have and even if you did think it was to replace she didn't even give us the option of which service we wanted to replace it with of course if she was a good sales person she would have pushed me to replace the facial with the pedi as the massage cost more (from a business point of view) however nothing she told us we could add it and even told us in what order that my sister would get them in ( facial, pedi then her massage) as I am still trying to figure out what happened she said well we can still try and get her in for the massage but she would have to wait a while, mind you we drove in from out of town (almost 2 hours each way, both had to find a babysitter and doing this would have us getting out at after 7 and we also had reservations for dinner) and when told that I figured they were going to try and fix it do you think they did... no ... she kept saying sorry you misunderstood me as if it was my fault that I took the word "add" as it's meaning and not what she was thinking in her head and just kept prompting me to pay not offering a discount, a cert for my sister to come back and get the package we originally booked nothing she just kept looking for me to pay. I was so mad as I work in customer service and this is not how an issue is supposed to be handled and it wasn't until after I paid that she spoke with the owner and explained the situation (almost) later that night I got a call from the owner explaining how they very rarely get complaints and when they do she takes them very seriously...ya right... the entire time I spoke with her instead of fixing the situation she made it worse as I explained what happened she kept finding excuses to prove that her receptionist was not wrong in what she did and again not offering to bring my sister back and get her the services she was so looking forward to I was shocked as she was the owner and not once did she take the opportunity to offer a solution but only to fight with me about the situation. This is a shame as I said before I go to the spa A LOT (meaning every week) now that I am living so far away from an area that has a spa I was planning every other week as 2 hours each way is a lot of drive time however when I do go I always take at least 6 people with me sometimes 8-10 when my family visits and usually spend about $400-$600 per person that goes with me that is about $2500 (min.) every other week that they could have brought in alone not to mention others that I would refer but I will NEVER go to this place again! We already have our "spa party" of 9 people reserved for another spa next week. read more

This was my first time at Flagstaff Face and Body. When I pulled up, it honestly didn't look like much and I wondered how good it was going to be. Well, my fears were allayed as soon as I entered. The lobby is warm and inviting with lots of products to view. A nice lady welcomed me and had me fill out forms. Rachel did my facial. She was kind and gave suggestions and did a relaxing face massage. Liz did a very relaxing 1 hour massage next. Nice touch to have a warm pack on your upper back while she works on other areas and also a cold pack on your eyes once you've turned over. My only wish is that you could not hear the road noise from Humphrey St. Otherwise, I will be back. read more

I am relatively new to Flagstaff and have been looking out for a good place to get my eyebrows waxed. The prices in Flagstaff are A TON more expensive than where I went to school for undergrad so I wasn't too excited about paying $20 for an eyebrow waxing when I usually pay a little less than half. I decided to just try it out and I am so glad I did! This place is nothing like I have ever experienced. Flagstaff Face and Body is actually a medical spa and because my twin sister and I are new clients, we had to come 10 minutes early to out patient history. We are first year grad students who look young for our age, and it's always been an insecurity of mine to be treated differently because of how young we naturally look. From the moment we stepped into their place, we got nothing but good treatment. The staff are very patient and accommodating and the place exudes a sense of calmness and serenity. Megan did my eyebrows and spent a long time (~30 min.) with me. Paying $20 was incredibly worth it and I highly recommend FF&B to anyone who is looking to get their money's worth!! read more

My fiance just came back from Flagstaff Face and Body. She came home so traumatized by a waxing, I personally felt the need to write a review on her behalf. First of all, my partner's been to many places throughout her life, and has never had such a terrible experience. She is literally sitting next to me as I write, drinking a beer at 11am to take the edge off. First of all, the wax cost $75, which is more than she's ever paid before. But whatever it's Flagstaff and Face and Body has no real competition here...we figured she'd be in and out, and for the cost, it would be perfect and as near painless as possible. While she is used to 15-30 minute appointments, this one took nearly an hour. She said this woman was awkward, forced her to be in positions she's never had to be in before for waxings, and had a terrible time taking the strips off--as many as 10-15 attempts in the worst of places to remove strips. She missed a bunch of spots, let wax sit for too long, and never bothered to ask my partner if the temp of the wax was manageable. When my partner left and gave her a 10 dollar tip (which she regretted), she noticed another customer had been waiting for 30 min. It was, by far, the worst waxing experience she's ever endured. Expensive, painful, and took way too long, and it wasn't done well! And the aesthetician didn't even say goodbye! She will never come back, for this or any other service. read more
