My situation, I have used Flam Financial for the past 2 years to my California tax returns but I recently received a very large levy request from the state of North Carolina for 2008 and 2009. The request from NC was unnecessary because I did not live in NC during those years but they claimed I did. The Flam Financial team worked diligently for me in order to get this issue resolved quickly and correctly, might I add that the state of NC was not very helpful or responsive. Having only lived in the US for a few years, Flam Financial was recommended to me as a great tax preparation company in the Westlake area - exactly what I needed for my new business. Making sense out of the convoluted US tax system and applying it to my new business was help I much needed. I came in and met with Justin and Harvey. I received a letter from the IRS saying I owed them a large amount of money from tax return 2 years ago and had been putting it off for a while. I wasn't sure the penalties the IRS were charging me for were accurate so I had them take a look at it. Turns out, I did make an error on my taxes but Justin was able to reduce my the amount the IRS was asking for by more than half. The charge for service was very minimal especially compared to the amount of money I saved by not owing the IRS. I have since referred many clients to Justin and Harvey and strongly recommend using their services.
