They are very pleasant people, but not easy to deal with. Additionally, they are expensive. They charged me $140 to produce a single 1099-MISC, that I supplied all information for! Their new system and their demands became too difficult to deal with. Their questions seemed like audit questions rather than tax questions. And questions they should've asked about my taxes, they NEVER asked. They assume you know what should be submitted to them, and don't ask you any questions about what wasn't submitted. For example, in 2024 with the Mountain Fire in my neighborhood they should've asked about catastrophic losses. They know my address and know I live in the middle of many houses that were burned to the ground. They should've asked but never did. Fortunately, the question was asked for my 2025 return. Lack of competence or lack of leadership? Not sure which, but glad I switched.

They would tell us they were swamped and so they needed to file an extension on our behalf. We trusted them to do this. And then some of our questions, we had to follow up several times with them. We felt quite disregarded. We decided to move onto a new firm this year and now a year later they keep sending us bills - for the questions they answered for us (during the time when we were clients) and an extension they filed for us (when we were clients). We ended up paying them but we would NEVER use them again. NEVER.
