This shop had the best prices of the couple I was calling around to on a Saturday, needed it same day. The mid-size was WAY more helium than I needed but it was cheaper than buying two smaller sizes still (and worked out because we totally ended up using around 90 cubic ft, they helped estimate for me upon returning the tank). So anyway, good prices, they didn't charge me a deposit for the tank (most places do), they helped answer some of my questions and seemed genuinely interested in what I was doing and what GISH was. Upon return, different shop assistant, same experience! He was super helpful, and seemed interested in our silly weather balloon adventure. They even allowed me to return slightly after hours (I was running 10 mins late past 5, due to rush hour). So from start to finish I just found them incredibly kind, helpful, accommodating, and friendly. On top of competitive helium pricing. Yay!

They have a HUGE variety of piñatas! The business seems family run, a younger girl helped me out since I don't know Spanish. They were super helpful and showed me options based on what size I said I wanted and colors. I was even told they can make custom piñatas with about a one week turn around - not bad! They showed me a green & gold classic piñata with horns. I learned the horns represent the 7 deadly sins - so you're symbolically fighting off the 7 deadly sins! I went with that piñata - it was no more than $30. They also asked me if I needed candy to fill it. They helped me choose a bag of spicy candy and non-spicy candy! So happy to have this locally owned business nearby for all party needs! They have so many snacks in bulk, decorations, and I think they even do rentals!

Curiosity is across the street from Young Joni and Dangerous Man, and it is a lovely little place! When we entered, we were greeted by an employee. Not even just greeted; he also struck up friendly conversation. Nice! Literally! The store is small but mighty, boasting very eye-pleasing house wares, gifts, decor, and more. I was mostly interested in and impressed with their plant holders/pots, local and mindful infant toys, care packages for new mothers, dinnerware, wall decor, and other pretty little things made by local artists. I thought the prices were very reasonably considering the items were mindfully curated and mostly locally sourced. I really look forward to coming back and shopping here once we get settled in our new home. The friendly employee (or maybe owner??) said that they rotate their inventory often. He also said that they don't have a ton of local clout (hence me neglecting them this whole time), so stop in and tell them you saw them on Yelp!
